Key Responsibilities
- Engage directly with founders and decision-makers at innovative UK startups, learning how to identify the right fundraising product and strategy to meet their goals.
- Manage a 100+ pipeline of startups - learning how to prioritise leads, keep communication timely and professional, and progress deals through the sales cycle effectively.
- Follow our sales process and CRM discipline rigorously - keeping records up to date, logging every interaction, and using the data to stay on top of your pipeline.
- Develop your ability to listen actively and ask the right questions, gaining an understanding of individual startup needs and learning to demonstrate how SeedLegals can support them.
- Focus on SeedLegals' fundraising solutions - helping founders understand how our platform simplifies seed rounds, SEIS/EIS, and early-stage investment documentation.
- Help build positive relationships with founders from initial enquiry through to onboarding and first purchase.
- Participate in regular training sessions, team calls, and gain exposure to founders, investors, and serial entrepreneurs.
- Encouraged to share ideas and feedback on the product, the sales process, or the customer experience.
- Ambitious and hungry to build a career in sales.
- Some background or genuine interest in business, finance, or law.
- A self-starter who also enjoys working as part of a team.
- Excited by the idea of speaking with startup founders every day.
- Thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
- Enjoy building rapport and are naturally curious about people.
- Eager to learn quickly and develop deep product knowledge.
- Strong people skills, with the ability to listen, empathise, and engage.
- Have a growth mindset and actively seek out feedback and improvement.
- Previous sales experience is a plus, but not essential.
