About the Opportunity
The Graduate Engineer role is the entry point into engineering at RecordPoint and a structured launchpad for a technical career. Our graduate program runs as four three-month rotations, with the final rotation being a Graduate Project rotation across engineering and customer-facing teams, so you gain a deep understanding of our company, products and customers. Developing your skills is the core focus, and it works: a significant share of our current engineers started here. On completing the program you move into a junior engineering role.
FY27 turns on growing output faster than headcount, so the pace at which you build capability, including AI fluency, is a genuine outcome of the program.
RecordPoint is committed to building a diverse and inclusive team. We encourage applications from candidates of all backgrounds, including those from underrepresented groups in the technology industry.

Working AI-native at RecordPoint
RecordPoint sells governance for the AI era, and we run the company the way we tell the market to run: AI is core infrastructure here, used under human supervision, as a daily operating reality rather than a slide in a deck. FY27 is the year we move from a traditional SaaS company to an AI-native one, organised around a single goal to accelerate efficiency and output through the use of AI technology. This role is expected to help set that pace, not watch it happen.
In practice, for this role that means:
-
Learning to use AI coding tools (for example Claude Code or GitHub Copilot) from Day 1 as a normal part of how engineers work here.
-
Using AI to accelerate your learning, debugging and documentation across your rotations.
-
Building applied-AI capability as a core outcome of the program, not an optional extra.
-
Learning to treat AI as a support to your judgement, never a substitute: you check what AI produces before it reaches the product.
What you'll be accountable for
-
Learning the software development lifecycle and completing meaningful tasks that contribute to product quality from Day 1
-
Designing, developing and supporting new features on our products across your rotations, including opportunities with AI/ML technologies
-
Working in an agile environment and contributing to our culture of learning and teaching
-
Building the technical foundations, product knowledge and delivery discipline that lead to a junior engineering role
What are we looking for
-
A Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering or relevant degree (recent graduate)
-
A genuine passion for technology and learning
-
The ability to communicate technical concepts clearly
-
Eligibility to work full time in the relevant jurisdiction for the duration of the program
