As a spin-off of the University of Padova and a certified B Corp; we work locally and internationally bringing scientific innovation into everyone’s life.

Etifor is seeking a…
- passionate, value-driven and hard-working person able to work independently, in a dynamic and resourceful way, while supporting the company teams to deliver high quality grant and tender proposals and related documentation, and support in the administrative and financial reporting phases;
- team-player with high interpersonal skills, able to maintain a friendly and continuously interactive working environment;
- strategic thinker able to set systematic approaches with an “input-output” and problem-solving mindset, develop smart tools and rules and convince everyone to use them;
- precise worker able to deal with complex budgets and bureaucracy-driven donors, while keeping a proactive approach;
- finisher, able to develop coherent and convincing texts and submit complex proposals.
Role and responsibilities
The successful candidate will…
- Act as a technical and operational support in the development and management of tenders and grants, supporting the team in both hands-on and strategic activities;
- Support and maintain a company's tenders and grants strategy (by donor and public sector) with the team leader of the Business Unit;
- Develop, improve and maintain relevant company tools for the development and management of tenders and grants;
- Manage and update grants and tenders, and public procurement online profiles;
- Provide timely and accurate information on funding and tender opportunities and the dissemination to the internal staff and partners;
- Analyse tenders and grants documentation and report to the strategist of the Business Unit with company-aligned opportunities;
- Design and support the design of successful project proposals, expressions of interest and tender documents for international donors and clients;
- Coordinate the collection of technical and economic information during the project drafting phase;
- Support Project Managers during the contracting phase, administrative and financial management and reporting of tenders and grants (timesheets, budgets, supporting documents, etc.)
- Keep a timetable and management of administrative deadlines, project milestones and deliverables with project managers.
Education
MSc related to natural resource management and economics are a plus.
- Any MSc will be evaluated if backed up by relevant experience for this position.
- PhDs will be a plus
Experience
At least 3 years’ experience in at least one of the following roles:
- Proposal writer;
- Public procurement and tender preparation;
- Financial reporting for international and national donors;
- Administrative and Financial Project Manager;
- EU funded Project Manager (Horizon, Erasmus+, LIFE, etc.).
- Other relevant experience for the position
Required skills
- Fluent in Italian (written and spoken);
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills;
- Preferences for candidates with knowledge of other international languages (French, Portuguese and/or German);
- Strong level of computer literacy (Office, cloud services, etc.);
- Experienced with AI tools for proposal writing;
- Strong technical communication, writing and editing skills;
- Ability in technical reporting both in writing and speaking.

Contract info
Start Date: November 2026
Work Location: Etifor's office in Padua at Piazza Alcide de Gasperi, No. 41. We have a super-flexible smartworking policy, but we require a little more in-presence time the first months, for onboarding purposes.
Contract Type: Full-time (CCNL Commercio, tempo determinato di 1 anno con possibilità di rinnovo a tempo indeterminato).
