Graphic Design Intern (Fall 2026)

Duration: August 31 - December 4, 2026
Commitment: 10 - 15 hours/week

Kaili Woop is a multidisciplinary art and design brand rooted in traditional printmaking techniques, offering original fine art, wearable pieces, and creative services. Since our founding in 2020, we've grown into a bold, unapologetic brand seeking to inspire through self-expression and artistry.
Internship Overview
Kaili Woop is seeking a Graphic Design Intern to join our team for the Fall 2026 semester. This remote internship is designed for a creative, detail-oriented individual eager to gain hands-on experience in branding, graphic design, visual storytelling, and creative direction within a growing art business.
Working closely with the Founder/Creative Director, you'll help create visual assets across print and digital platforms while contributing ideas that shape the evolution of the Kaili Woop brand. This internship is ideal for students looking to strengthen their portfolio with real-world design projects.
Key Responsibilities (flexible schedule between 10-15 hours a week)
Graphic Design (6–8 hours/week)
• Design graphics for social media, newsletters, website updates, and promotional campaigns
• Create marketing materials including flyers, postcards, postcards, catalogs, lookbooks, pitch decks, and digital advertisements
• Assist in designing product packaging, hang tags, stickers, labels, and branded merchandise
• Create mockups for new products, apparel, and creative concepts
• Prepare files for both print and digital production
• Maintain consistency with Kaili Woop's visual identity and branding guidelines
Brand & Creative Development (3–5 hours/week)
• Brainstorm creative concepts for launches, workshops, collaborations, and events
• Research design trends, typography, color palettes, and inspiration relevant to the brand
• Organize design assets, fonts, templates, and creative files
• Assist in creating presentations, media kits, and client-facing materials
• Contribute ideas for seasonal collections and visual campaigns
Team Collaboration (1 hour/week)
• Attend weekly Zoom meetings to discuss projects, creative direction, and priorities
• Participate in monthly one-on-one check-ins
• Share ideas, ask questions, and collaborate on creative solutions

Skills & Interests
Currently pursuing (or recently completed) a degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Fine Arts, or a related field
Basic understanding of typography, composition, color, and layout
Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (especially Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign)
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
Strong communication skills in a remote environment
Bonus Skills
Experience with Figma
Motion graphics or basic animation
Photography or photo editing
Canva
Blender or 3D design
Knowledge of print production and file preparation
Illustration or hand-drawn artwork
