About Go Local Promotions

Go Local Promotions is a U.S.-based creative production and field marketing agency specializing in visual installations, custom fabrication, retail displays, experiential activations, and branded environments.

We work with some of the world’s leading brands, bringing their campaigns to life across major U.S. airports, travel retail locations, retail stores, events, and experiential environments throughout the United States.

Go Local is a fast-growing company with an international team and expanding operations across the U.S. and the Americas. We are building our team for the long term and are looking for people who want the opportunity to grow with the company, take on greater responsibility, and develop their careers as our operations continue to expand.

About the Role

We’re looking for a Graphic Designer & Production Specialist based in Colombia who combines strong visual design and presentation skills with the technical precision required to take creative work from concept through real-world production and installation.

This is not a traditional graphic design position.

The person in this role will help ensure that creative assets are not only visually strong, but also accurately adapted, reviewed, organized, documented, and prepared for production and installation.

You will work closely with our Visual Installations Director, Visual Installations Manager, project teams, fabrication team, printing partners, and field installation crews, serving as an important bridge between design, production, and on-site execution.

You should be someone who enjoys both the creative and technical sides of design and takes pride in making complex projects organized, accurate, and easy for others to execute.

What You’ll Do

Graphic Design & Production

* Prepare, resize, adapt, and finalize artwork for production across multiple formats, dimensions, substrates, and applications.

* Review and audit internally and externally provided artwork before it is released for printing, fabrication, or installation.

* Ensure accuracy in dimensions, resolution, logos, typography, brand guidelines, image quality, bleeds, scale, and color specifications, including Pantone, CMYK, RGB, and HEX.

* Prepare print-ready and production-ready files with the appropriate specifications for vendors and internal production teams.

* Create and maintain graphic specifications, production documents, artwork packages, and technical documentation.

* Review renders, elevations, layouts, floor plans, technical drawings, and measurements to ensure graphics are correctly adapted to physical environments and fabricated elements.

* Identify inconsistencies, missing assets, incorrect dimensions, low-resolution artwork, incorrect colors, or potential production problems before they reach printing, fabrication, or installation.

Visual Installation Guides & Field Execution

A key responsibility of this position is making sure our field installation teams know exactly what goes where and have the information they need to execute correctly.

You will:

* Prepare clear and professional Visual Installation Guides for projects being executed by our teams throughout the United States.

* Organize and identify every graphic or visual asset using clear lettering, numbering, location codes, and naming conventions.

* Match individual graphics and production files to their corresponding locations on elevations, photographs, renders, floor plans, or store layouts.

* Create visual references showing installers exactly where each asset belongs, its orientation, dimensions, sequence, and installation location.

* Organize installation packages so field teams can quickly identify assets such as A1, A2, B1, B2, etc., and match them to the correct physical location.

* Prepare documentation that minimizes ambiguity and allows installation teams to work efficiently, even when projects involve multiple stores, terminals, locations, or visual assets.

* Ensure the latest approved artwork and installation documentation is clearly versioned and distributed so teams do not accidentally work from outdated information.

* Communicate closely with the Visual Installations Director, Visual Installations Manager, and Visual Installations Team to clarify questions and provide updated documentation when conditions change in the field.

* Review field photographs and installation feedback when necessary to help verify that visual assets were installed according to approved specifications.

* Help identify potential problems before installers arrive on-site, including missing graphics, incorrect dimensions, unclear placement instructions, conflicting information, or incomplete documentation.

Client Presentations & Visual Communication

* Develop polished, visually compelling client presentations that communicate concepts, proposals, recommendations, and project ideas.

* Transform technical or complex information into presentations that are clear, organized, professional, and persuasive.

* Work with project managers and creative teams to prepare presentation materials for client meetings and project approvals.

* Maintain strong visual consistency and storytelling across presentations.

Project & File Organization

* Maintain highly organized project folders, artwork libraries, naming conventions, and version-control systems.

* Ensure teams can quickly identify the latest approved version of every asset.

* Keep production specifications, installation guides, client approvals, artwork, and project documentation organized and accessible.

* Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.

* Communicate quickly and clearly when information is missing, inconsistent, or requires clarification.

Who You Are

* A graphic designer with strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator and Photoshop.

* Strong in both creative design and technical production work.

* Comfortable working with dimensions, scale, layouts, elevations, and technical information.

* A strong visual communicator capable of creating polished, engaging, and persuasive presentations.

* Highly organized and detail-oriented.

* Someone who naturally notices when something doesn’t look right or doesn’t add up.

* Comfortable managing large amounts of artwork, specifications, revisions, locations, and project information without losing track of details.

* Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with multiple projects and changing priorities.

* Responsive and able to provide clear, accurate, and timely communication.

* Proactive, resourceful, and comfortable taking ownership of assigned work.

* Comfortable collaborating with multiple departments while also working independently.

* English proficiency is highly preferred. Bilingual English/Spanish is a strong plus.

* A professional portfolio is required.

Nice to Have

* Experience with digital and large-format printing.

* Knowledge of graphic applications involving vinyl, translucent and backlit materials, textiles, acrylic, rigid substrates, wall coverings, and specialty materials.

* Familiarity with UV printing, latex printing, sublimation, SEG graphics, dimensional graphics, and other large-format production processes.

* Experience preparing artwork for fabrication or environmental graphics.

* Experience working with elevations, technical drawings, architectural plans, or fabrication drawings.

* Experience in retail, visual merchandising, POP/POS displays, travel retail, experiential marketing, events, airports, or custom fabrication.

Why Join Go Local?

At Go Local, your work goes beyond the computer screen.

The graphics and presentations you prepare may ultimately become full-scale branded environments, retail displays, airport installations, experiential activations, and physical spaces seen by thousands of consumers.

You’ll have the opportunity to:

* Work on projects for globally recognized brands.

* See your work produced and installed in major airports and high-visibility retail environments throughout the United States.

* Gain hands-on knowledge of printing, fabrication, visual merchandising, production, and installation.

* Work closely with the teams responsible for taking projects from concept through production and into the field.

* Be part of a growing international organization with expanding operations across the U.S. and the Americas.

* Develop expertise beyond traditional graphic design into production design, environmental graphics, visual installations, and real-world project execution.

* Take on greater responsibility and career opportunities as Go Local continues to grow.

We’re looking for someone who wants more than their next project. We want someone interested in building a long-term career with Go Local and growing alongside the company.
