We’re partnering with a growing UK cyber security consultancy to appoint a GRC Consultant to its collaborative team.

This is a hands-on, delivery-focused opportunity, working across Cyber Essentials, ISO 27001, cyber assurance and third-party risk management. You’ll contribute directly to client assignments, build your confidence and develop your expertise across different organisations and security challenges.

The work

You will focus on delivering thorough assessments, clear findings, and useful recommendations. Responsibilities will include:

• Delivering Cyber Essentials assessments and audits, reviewing responses and supporting evidence.
• Supporting DCC-related assessment and assurance work.
• Contributing to ISO 27001 assessments, audits and implementation activity.
• Conducting third-party risk assessments, reviewing security questionnaires and evidence, and identifying areas for improvement.
• Producing clear reports that explain risks and recommend practical remediation.
• Communicating with clients to clarify requirements, gather information and explain findings.
• Managing your workload and deadlines, working with colleagues to maintain consistent delivery quality.

What you’ll bring

• Around 1–3 years’ relevant experience in information security consulting, auditing or GRC delivery.
• Practical experience in one or more of Cyber Essentials, DCC, ISO 27001 or third-party risk management, with an interest in broadening your expertise.
• Experience reviewing security evidence, identifying gaps and documenting findings.
• Clear communication and the ability to explain security requirements to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Good organisation, attention to detail and pride in delivering work clients can rely on.
• A collaborative approach and the confidence to ask questions and learn.

ISO 27001 Lead Auditor or Lead Implementer qualifications are preferred but not essential.

Practical experience, a sound foundation and the willingness to develop are central to this opportunity.
