  • Define control architectures and operating strategies for grid-connected storage assets.
  • Establish requirements for automatic dispatch, frequency response, voltage support, reactive-power control, and other grid services.
  • Coordinate energy-management-system functionality and automated dispatch strategies.
  • Establish operating limits and control parameters to balance performance, revenue, battery degradation, and safety.
  • Monitor real-time system performance, availability, power output, energy capacity, efficiency, alarms, and operating conditions.
  • Develop dashboards and analytics for grid-storage performance.
  • Analyze operating data to identify degradation, performance losses, abnormal conditions, and optimization opportunities.
  • Monitor state of charge, state of health, cell balance, temperature, voltage, current, and other critical battery indicators.
  • Lead root-cause investigations into battery, inverter, transformer, protection, control, communication, and grid-related failures.
  • Coordinate corrective and preventive actions and verify their effectiveness.
  • Establish preventive and predictive maintenance strategies for grid-storage assets.
  • Develop asset-management plans covering inspections, maintenance, component replacement, battery augmentation, refurbishment, and end-of-life activities.
