  • Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and annual group reporting.

  • Review and challenge accounting treatments across subsidiaries and affiliates.

  • Provide guidance on complex accounting transactions and business events.
  • Assess accounting implications of new transactions, acquisitions, restructurings and organisational changes.
  • Monitor and interpret new IFRS developments and ensure appropriate implementation.

Governance & Control

  • Strengthen accounting governance, policies and control frameworks across the Group.
  • Ensure alignment between Group accounting policies and local statutory requirements.

Affiliate & Stakeholder Coordination

  • Act as the primary finance contact for multiple affiliates and legal entities.
  • Coordinate with local finance teams, controllers and accounting managers across the Group.
  • Challenge and support local teams on complex accounting issues.
  • Ensure technical accounting matters are addressed consistently across all entities.

Audit & External Relationships

  • Lead interactions with external auditors throughout audit cycles.
  • Coordinate audit deliverables and manage resolution of complex audit queries.
  • Ensure readiness for statutory and group audits.

Leadership

  • Directly manage a team of approximately five finance professionals.
  • Provide technical coaching, guidance and oversight.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for a seasoned accounting professional with a strong technical foundation and extensive experience operating within large, international environments.

Essential Experience

  • Proven experience as a: Group Accounting Manager, Senior Accounting Manager, Head of Group Accounting, Group Reporting Manager are all relevant for this role.
  • Minimum 15 years of relevant accounting and finance experience.
  • Extensive experience in multinational or international organisations.

  • Experience coordinating and influencing multiple affiliates and finance teams.
  • Strong exposure to governance, controls and financial reporting frameworks.
