Role Description The Group Data Governance Manager is responsible for establishing and overseeing data governance frameworks and standards across Swisspearl Group. This full-time hybrid role is based in Gdańsk, with a mix of on-site work and the possibility to work from home. Day-to-day responsibilities include defining data ownership and stewardship, implementing policies and processes for data quality and data management, and coordinating master data management initiatives across business units. The role involves collaborating with IT and business stakeholders to align data governance with strategic objectives, monitoring compliance with data standards, and facilitating continuous improvement of data-related practices. The Group Data Governance Manager will also provide guidance, training, and documentation to promote data literacy and support decision-making based on reliable, well-managed data.

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Data Governance and Data Management.
- Candidates should possess expertise in Data Quality and Master Data Management.
- Candidates should possess advanced Analytical Skills for interpreting data and supporting business decisions.
- Relevant experience in developing and implementing data policies, standards, and frameworks in a group or multi-site environment.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including IT, finance, operations, and business leadership.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain complex data topics in clear, practical terms.
- Background in data, IT, business administration, or related field; a university degree or equivalent professional experience is beneficial.
- Experience in manufacturing or construction industries, and familiarity with European regulatory environments, is an advantage.
