The role:

We are looking for a Group Financial Planning &Analyst Principal who will structure and bring next level of maturity to the group's Financial Planning & Analysis function, still in its early stages today, and become its point of reference. This is not a pure reporting role: whoever holds this position designs processes, selects and implements tools, and becomes one of the direct points of contact for the investors and the Department Heads on everything related to the company's numbers. The role reports directly to the CFO.

Key responsibilities:

• Establish the FP&A function ways of working: processes, templates, reporting and planning cadences.
• Manage the group's monthly/quarterly forecasting and reporting
• Collaborate with the Head of Finance to support the month end close and validate the result vs forecast.
• Develop financial models (P&L, cash flow, scenario planning, SaaS KPIs).
• Evaluate, select and implement FP&A and reporting tools, and act as business owner for integration with the existing ecosystem (ERP, CRM).
• Define and monitor group KPIs, in coordination with CFO.
• Support CFO in preparation of reports Management and the Board.

Requirements:

• Degree in Economics, Finance or Engineering.
• 5+ years in FP&A / Finance Business Partner roles, at least 3 of which in a SaaS environment, or a background in Big Four or investment banking with a subsequent transition into corporate finance roles.
• Ability to build FP&A processes and tools from scratch or from immature structures.
• Excellent financial modeling skills (advanced Excel); familiarity with dedicated FP&A tools is a plus.
• Familiarity with NetSuite (ERP) and HubSpot (CRM), already in use across the group.
• Knowledge of IAS/IFRS accounting principles.
• Excellent knowledge of spoken and written English.
• Analytical thinking: the ability to turn complex data into clear insight, including for non finance audiences.
• Experience working with senior stakeholders (C level, Investors, Board members, Department Heads), even without an established reporting line.
• Autonomy and proactivity in a fast growing and evolving environment.

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of French or another European language.
• Hands on experience implementing FP&A tools.
• Prior experience in a multi entity / multi country environment.

Base pay hiring range for this role in Italy: 50.000 - 60.000 € gross per year, under the Commercio collective agreement, level Quadro.
