COMPANY OVERVIEW

Croud is an independent global media, creative and data agency that helps businesses unlock growth through a Return on Intelligence. Our unique business model brings together in-house expertise and a global network of Intelligent Creative Specialists, enabling us to deliver smarter, more effective solutions for our clients in an increasingly complex and fast-moving marketing landscape.

We work with some of the world’s leading brands to drive sustainable growth, combining specialist expertise, technology and intelligence to deliver better business outcomes.

Our people and culture are central to how we operate. We’re proud to have been named a Sunday Times Best Place to Work for the second year running, as well as Performance Marketing Employer of the Year by PMW.

At Croud, we believe in unlocking potential – elevating our people, our clients and our communities through the power of intelligence, creativity and collaboration.

Our culture is strategically driven and inspired by a shared long-term vision. It is collaborative and connected, with a focus on continuous learning and mutual support.

We are energised by future thinking, driving innovation to achieve better outcomes. We are instinctively generous, actively including and empowering our people. Above all, we are purpose-driven, committed to positively impacting our people, the planet, and our global communities.

ROLE OVERVIEW

As Croud continues its rapid growth organically and through M&A, we are seeking a highly collaborative, strategic, and tech-savvy Group FP&A Business Partner to join our global finance team.

Reporting directly to the Head of Group FP&A, this role is a critical link between Finance, Operations, media/creative agency leads, and senior executive management - including the Group CFO and C-suite across our UK and US hubs.

The Group is currently undergoing a significant operating model transformation and modernising its core financial infrastructure. You will be instrumental in migrating us away from manual legacy processes toward automated, scalable workflows, while helping to implement new FP&A/planning tools. Furthermore, you will act as a core strategic partner to operational leaders to help drive, structure, and embed our group-wide reorganisation.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Global Business Partnering & Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Act as a trusted, high-visibility partner to the Group CFO, senior leadership, and division heads across UK and US operations, spanning both media and creative agency units.

  • Translate complex financial data into compelling stories and strategic recommendations for executive decision-making.

  • Challenge, support, and influence stakeholders across geographies to optimise resource allocation, capacity management, and client profitability.

Strategic Financial Planning, Analysis & M&A

  • Planning & Forecasting: Co-lead the global annual budgeting, quarterly re-forecasting, and long-range strategic planning processes. As the central FP&A resource - coordinating guidance, deliverables and positioning across multiple stakeholders to deliver comprehensive planning outputs.

  • Scenario Modeling: Develop robust financial models and sensitivity analyses to support strategic business cases, global expansion, and capital allocation decisions.

  • Executive Reporting: Deliver monthly Board packs, executive dashboards, and variance analysis that provide deep commentary on business driver performance.

  • M&A & Integration Support: Assist with financial due diligence, financial model integration for acquired agencies, vendor due diligence, and private equity investor reporting.

Operating Model Transformation & Commercial Operations

  • Operating Model Reorganisation: Partner directly with Operations and senior executives to shape, financially model, and execute our strategic operating model transformation.

  • Agency Commercials: Evaluate pricing models, client pitch economics, third-party cost structures, and capacity management across media and creative service lines.

  • Incentive Alignment: Support the review and design of Group bonus, sales commission, and agency performance incentive models.

Systems, Automation & Process Scalability

  • Drive Process Modernisation: Identify manual bottlenecks across budgeting, forecasting, and reporting workflows, designing automated, scalable solutions to optimise efficiency across the Group. This includes using advanced spreadsheet/data analysis tools and AI where appropriate to upgrade our ways of working.

  • ERP & Planning Tool Implementation: Play a key role representing FP&A in designing, testing, and rolling out a new Group ERP and enterprise planning tool.

  • Data Architecture: Collaborate closely with BI and Data teams to streamline data flows, build scalable reporting models, and maintain a centralised data warehouse.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

  • Professional Qualification: ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent professional financial qualification.

  • Experience: 4+ years in FP&A or Commercial Finance, ideally within a fast-paced media, creative, digital marketing agency, or PE-backed tech-enabled service business.

  • Systems & Transformation Track Record: Hands-on experience with ERP and/or FP&A tool implementations and a strong appetite for automation.

  • Advanced Technical Capability: Exceptional Excel / Google Sheets financial modeling skills; experience with BI platforms (Looker, Tableau, Power BI) or SQL is highly advantageous.

  • Cross-Border & Stakeholder Management: Proven track record collaborating across international offices (specifically UK & US) and partnering directly with senior management (CFO, Managing Directors, Head of Ops).

  • Change Resilience: Comfortable driving structure and clarity within a dynamic, transforming, and historically manual environment.

  • Commercial Acumen: Strong business intuition with the confidence to constructively challenge senior stakeholders and champion change.

  • Education: Degree educated in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related
