Are you an experienced technology leader who enjoys developing people while shaping and delivering business-critical infrastructure?

We are looking for a Group Leader for Oracle Infrastructure to lead our global team of Oracle infrastructure specialists. This is a combined people leadership and technology leadership role, giving you responsibility for both the development of your team and the secure, reliable and continuous evolution of DNV's Oracle infrastructure services.

The Oracle Infrastructure team is part of Cloud Infrastructure, which manages DNV's multi-cloud environments across our Private Cloud, Microsoft Azure, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and Amazon Web Services (AWS), as part of our VerIT Platform.

Cloud Infrastructure consists of around 100 professionals across 10 locations worldwide, with major hubs in Oslo, Gdynia, Shanghai and Houston. We operate and develop critical infrastructure services, support DNV's global growth and mergers & acquisitions, and work closely with business areas and Group functions to deliver secure and reliable technology services.

We are transforming how infrastructure is delivered through increased use of Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automation and cloud technologies. Security, resilience and continuous improvement are fundamental to how we work.

You will have overall responsibility for the Oracle Infrastructure team and its services, with a strong focus on people, performance, technology and customer value.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Lead, support and develop a global team of Oracle infrastructure specialists, creating an environment where people can grow, take ownership and succeed.

  • Take responsibility for the secure, stable and high-quality operation of DNV's Oracle infrastructure services.

  • Build strong relationships and work closely with application and system owners, particularly those responsible for business-critical Finance and HR applications running on the Oracle infrastructure.

  • Drive the development and modernization of the Oracle infrastructure platform, prioritizing improvements and projects based on business needs.

  • Promote greater use of automation and Infrastructure as Code to improve efficiency, scalability and consistency.

  • Ensure security, risk management, resilience and lifecycle management are embedded into the platform and its services.

  • Monitor and continuously improve capacity, utilization, workload, service quality and customer satisfaction.

  • Encourage collaboration across Cloud Infrastructure and the wider DNV technology organization.

  • Follow developments in Oracle technology and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and assess opportunities relevant to DNV's platform and services.

You will join a highly competent and professional global IT organization. In this role, you will have the opportunity to combine leadership, technology and business understanding to shape the future of DNV's Oracle infrastructure.

  • An inclusive, diverse, and supportive work culture where your voice is valued.
  • Opportunities for professional growth, learning, and development.
  • Collaboration with experienced colleagues and exposure to international stakeholders.
  • A work environment that encourages innovation, continuous improvement, and knowledge sharing.
  • Competitive compensation and working conditions

We are looking for an experienced leader who combines a strong people and service mindset with a solid understanding of enterprise infrastructure and Oracle technologies.

You enjoy leading technical specialists and creating an environment built on trust, accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.

We believe you will bring:

  • A university degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • Proven leadership experience, including developing people and building effective teams in an international environment.

  • A genuine interest in helping people grow, succeed and develop professionally.

  • A solid understanding of Oracle technologies, Oracle applications and Oracle databases.

  • Experience with enterprise infrastructure and an understanding of cloud and hybrid-cloud environments.

  • Strong business understanding and the ability to balance service quality, technology, cost, capacity and business priorities.

  • A strong security and risk mindset, ensuring security and risk mitigation are embedded into solutions and operational processes.

  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.

  • Professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken.

Please submit your CV and motivation letter in English as part of your application.
