Is this job info correct?

Job Overview Agility Group is a Caribbean pharmaceutical and medical consumables distributor operating across multiple entities and territories. We supply over 3,000 active customers serving more than one million people. Our 2030 vision is US$60 million in revenue, a doubled regional footprint, and over one million lives uplifted each year. Procurement is the engine that makes that vision possible, and the lever that protects margin. Today, procurement decisions are spread across multiple people in multiple locations. Forecasts are reactive, supplier diversification is incomplete, and stock decisions are made in isolation rather than as a group. This role exists to fix that. The Group Procurement Manager sits at the centre of group-wide procurement, building the analytical engine that lets Directors make sourcing decisions with speed, evidence, and confidence, and tying every procurement decision back to a measurable financial outcome. The remit is group-wide across all Agility entities, current and future, from the moment a tender is issued or a sales forecast leads through to a Director-signed Purchase Order. This is a redesign-and-build role, not a maintenance role. Key Responsibilities This role operates in two modes. As Architect, it designs the forecasting models, scorecards, and processes the procurement function runs on. As Executor, it runs them day to day. Most areas below involve both. Demand Forecasting & Stock Management Designs and implements a group-wide demand forecasting model by SKU, by entity, by month. Processes daily purchase suggestions across all entities, covering what to buy, how much, from whom, and when. Runs weekly stock reviews, flagging slow movers, expiring stock, and stockout risks with measured financial impact. Supplier Management & Sourcing Builds supplier scorecards covering quality, lead time, OTIF, and price competitiveness, and reviews them quarterly with Directors. Drives supplier diversification toward the group target of 80% of critical products with at least one verified alternate supplier. Develops alternative-supplier sourcing pipelines, prioritising reduction in single-country dependency. Prepares negotiation cases for Directors, including supplier shortlists, recommended terms, BATNA analysis, and financial modelling. Directors lead all supplier negotiations. Maintains accurate ERP records covering suppliers, prices, lead times, MOQs, and terms. Purchasing & Order Execution Prepares Purchase Orders for Director review with alternative supplier options, pricing comparisons, and stock impact analysis. Sources a minimum of three quotes for major lines. Coordinates with branch teams on inbound shipments, customs clearance, and receiving. Manages the procurement calendar, including monthly supplier orders, OECS tender cycles, and quarterly ordering schedules. Tenders & New Product Introduction Coordinates tender responses, pulling pricing and stock data for OECS-PPS and other institutional tenders. Provides procurement input on new product introductions, covering supplier feasibility, lead time, MOQ, and landed cost, before commitments are made. Reporting & Process Governance Establishes standard procurement KPIs and a monthly reporting cadence to Directors, with every KPI tied to a financial outcome. Documents procurement processes, decision rules, and escalation paths. Team & Working Rhythm Designs the working rhythm with the Inventory Manager so the procurement and inventory functions stay aligned. Skills & Experience Essential Minimum 8 years in procurement, supply chain, or logistics, with at least 3 in a leadership role. Demonstrable track record of cross-border, multi-entity procurement. Track record of redesigning a procurement function or workflow, not only running an established one. Examples expected at interview. Demonstrable ability to translate procurement decisions into P&L and working-capital impact: savings delivered, margin protected, cash released. Comfortable speaking the language of finance with Directors. Strong demand forecasting and inventory analysis experience. ERP fluency. Acumatica preferred; SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar accepted with willingness to retrain quickly. Advanced Excel, including pivot tables, lookups, and modelling. Strong analytical thinking. Experience preparing data and recommendations for senior leaders or boards. Articulate, evidence-based communication: able to present complex supplier analysis to Directors and nudge them to negotiate from a position of strength. This is a recommendation-heavy role. Self-managing operator, comfortable communicating clearly in writing and in live conversation. Track record of managing direct reports, setting clear expectations, and holding the team accountable. Desirable Pharmaceutical, medical, or healthcare distribution background. Caribbean, Latin American, or small-island-state market exposure, and the ability to describe the geography, scale, and logistics challenges of the region in their own words. Tender response and government or institutional supply experience. Power BI, Tableau, or similar analytics platform experience. Prior experience working with distributed or multi-location teams, or serving a UK, US, AU, or Caribbean client base. Education A degree in supply chain management, business, finance, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. Professional procurement certification (CIPS or equivalent) is an advantage but not required. Personal Attributes Asks before assuming; clarifies before committing. Pushes back with evidence rather than agreeing politely and resenting later. Manages up by anticipating Director questions, not waiting to be asked. Documents decisions and reasoning so the team learns from their work. Leads by trust and clear expectations rather than surveillance. Holds their own in conversation with senior management: confident, articulate, and direct. Work Environment This role can be based in any location. For candidates outside Agility's territories, the role is fully remote. For candidates based in one of our territories, such as Jamaica, Trinidad, or Barbados, the role is office-based at the local entity. In all cases, discipline, responsiveness, and Director access during agreed windows matter more than physical location, and candidates must be able to maintain agreed overlap hours with the wider team. Equipment and software are provided by Agility, including laptop, ERP access, Microsoft 365, and communication tools. Travel to entity locations may be required from time to time. The role involves regular video calls with all entity teams.
