Hi there!

As our Growth design Lead you'll lead the creation of a high-velocity experimentation engine that drives measurable business impact across the top of our funnel. You'll help define and execute an AI-first design strategy that connects world-class creative with core growth metrics — ensuring continuous optimization across acquisition, conversion, and activation. Operating at the intersection of design, data, and marketing, you'll translate behavioral and search insights into scalable, on-brand experiences, establish rigorous testing frameworks, and partner closely with Growth Marketing, Web/Engineering, Brand, and Data to accelerate conversion and revenue outcomes through disciplined, data-driven execution.

If you have a strong track record of driving growth through experimentation, bring deep design and product thinking, understand SEO and conversion rate optimization, and have a forward-looking perspective on how AI can unlock customer and business value, we'd love to hear from you!

About You

  • You have 10+ years of experience in growth, product, or marketing design, with a strong portfolio of shipped, top-of-funnel work that drove measurable business impact (lead generation, conversion lift, acquisition). Your portfolio shows both craft and outcomes.

  • You drive growth through experimentation. You've designed and run A/B and multivariate tests, built and scaled experimentation programs, and moved quickly from hypothesis to live experiment without dropping your quality bar.

  • You understand SEO and conversion rate optimization deeply, and you design with them in mind. You know how information architecture, landing page structure, page speed, and content strategy affect discoverability and conversion. You also stay ahead of how AI is transforming organic search and discovery, evolving site architecture and content strategy to remain optimized for SEO and localized (GEO) behaviors.

  • You think in systems and you strengthen the ones that already exist. You've designed for CMS-driven platforms and modular frameworks, and you've built and contributed to reusable components inside a shared design systems so the whole team ships faster and more consistently.

  • You've owned lead-capture experiences — forms, gated content, and CRM-integrated workflows — and you're fluent in growth metrics like MQLs, CAC, and LTV and lead qualification workflows.

  • You're AI-first in your craft. You actively use AI tools (e.g., Cursor, v0, Claude, Figma AI) to accelerate research, generate variants, prototype faster, and increase design velocity — and you have a forward-looking view on how AI can unlock customer and business value.

  • You're deep in Figma: auto-layout, AI prototyping, and a track record of contributing to design systems there rather than working around them. You hold a high bar for usability, accessibility and brand integrity, and you treat brand and conversion as the same goal.

  • You're a seasoned operator and a force multiplier. You've worked at the scale and pace of a fast-growing company, you own ambiguous, high-impact work end-to-end, and you mentor and level up other designers.

  • You communicate and collaborate well. You partner naturally with growth marketers, brand designers, writers, engineers, and data, and you can articulate the "why" behind design decisions in terms of both user experience and business outcomes.

  • You embody our values. At Zapier, our values are at the heart of how we work together and how we think about our customers. In our remote setting, they help develop trust and ensure we work and collaborate to democratize automation.

Things You'll Do

  • Own and define the end-to-end visitor-to-lead experience across our marketing site and campaigns — shaping how prospects discover, learn about, and decide to try Zapier.

  • Build a high-velocity experimentation engine for the top of our funnel — designing, running, and scaling A/B and multivariate experimentation programs across landing pages, campaigns, and conversion surfaces.

  • Define and execute an AI-first design strategy that connects world-class creative with core growth metrics, and continuously optimizes for acquisition, conversion, and activation.

  • Own conversion rate optimization from a design perspective: form hypotheses, design experiments, and iterate based on test results, funnel data, and growth metrics (MQLs, CAC, LTV).

  • Refine site-wide information architecture to improve discoverability, navigation, and conversion efficiency, and evolve our content strategy for SEO and AI-driven search (GEO).

  • Design high-performing lead-capture experiences — forms, gated content, and CRM-integrated workflows — and partner with marketing and revenue ops to improve lead qualification and handoff.

  • Extend the systems we already have (the web design system, the email design system, brand guidelines) so they serve growth and experimentation needs. You decide whether the pattern earns a place in the system and build the component in Figma.

  • Partner closely with Growth Marketing, Brand, Web/Engineering, and Data to translate behavioral and search insights into scalable, on-brand, accessible experiences. You'll be active in what Brand Studio ships: critique, design review, and the systems.

  • Bring a high creative bar to performance-driven work, balancing brand integrity with funnel optimization.

  • Use AI to raise the ceiling on what we can test: variants at volume, prototypes fast enough to test an idea, and sharing what works with the rest of Brand Studio.

  • Set the standard for growth design practice across Brand Studio — mentoring designers and fostering craft, experimentation, and AI fluency.

This helps speed things up by letting us get to know you and your skillset a bit better right out of the gate. Please be sure to answer each question; the resume and CV fields are optional.

Education is not a requirement for our roles; however, if you receive an offer, you will need to include your most recent educational experience as part of our background check process.

In fact, throughout the process, we strive to never go more than seven days without letting you know the status of your application.
