About Mouldd
We are a fast-growing resin arts & crafts brand helping people all over the UK/US get creative. From home dΓ©cor to floral preservation, we make resin accessible, exciting, and genuinely beautiful.
We are searching for a sharp, creative and self-motivated Growth Marketing Executive to join our small but mighty team. You will own the marketing engine day to day: the ads we run, the emails we send, and the content that goes out. This is a role for someone who wants to make the calls rather than take the brief, and you will see the results of those calls in the numbers every single week.
Mouldd launched in 2021 and we have been growing fast ever since. We are independent, self-funded, and building a brand people genuinely love. We have already created a loyal community of makers, and now we want to level up our brand, products, and presence in a big way. We have just launched our product range into the US, and marketing is how we win there.
The role
You will run our Meta creative pipeline, our email programme and our organic content. The heart of the job is deciding what we make next: spotting the angle or promotion that will land, and working out why the last one did not.
We have an in-house video editor, several content creators, and a freelance designer when we need one. The founders currently handle our marketing but weβre looking for someone to come up with the ideas and handle the end to end process.
You will have real freedom, real responsibility, and the chance to get bold ideas live quickly. No marketing department to get lost in, no layers of approval, and nothing you build gets watered down on its way out.
The impact you will have
- Creative is our biggest growth lever. Our results move on the strength of the angles and hooks we test. Find the winners faster and the whole brand grows faster.
- Email is a direct line to revenue. You will own it end to end, so the campaigns you write show up in monthly sales. Attributable, visible, yours.
- The US is wide open. We have built something people love in the UK and we have just landed in a much bigger market. How the brand takes hold there is largely down to the marketing, and that is your call to make.
- You will help build the playbook, not inherit one. How we test, how we brief, how we decide - that becomes how Mouldd does marketing.
What you will own Meta ad creative β the centre of the role
- Research and develop the angles, hooks and scripts behind our video ads
- Brief our in-house video editor and direct their output: you decide what gets made, and whether it is good enough to run
- Build image ads yourself in Canva, or brief our freelance designer for anything heavier
- Keep the pipeline stocked and loaded into Ads Manager
- Own creative strategy end to end β challenge it, test it, make it better
Reading the numbers
Creative decisions should come from evidence, not guesswork.
- Review Meta, Klaviyo and Shopify performance every week and decide what we double down on, cut, or test next
- Track which angles, hooks and offers land, then build on the winners rather than starting from scratch
- Tell us straight what is working and what is not, with the numbers behind it
- Spot what we have missed: underused segments, dead flows, formats we have not tried
Email marketing
- Write 3 campaigns a week β the concept, the offer and the copy are the hard part; the Klaviyo build is the easy bit
- Own the monthly promo calendar across UK and US
- Keep improving the flows: welcome, abandonment, post-purchase, win-back
- Own segmentation and send cadence
Creators and content
- Manage several outsourced creators and influencers: briefs, shoot lists, feedback, quality control
- Find and onboard new creators as we launch new products
- Oversee our organic social and Pinterest, plus the monthly "Mould of the Month" cycle β our editor handles the edits, you set the direction and hold the standard
- Be the taste filter. If it does not represent the brand, it does not go out.
What we are looking for
Must have:
- 2-3+ years in DTC/ecommerce marketing, with paid social creative you can point to and talk us through
- Real creative instinct β you can look at a product and see the angle, and you know why one hook works and another does not
- Excellent writing. You will write ads and customer-facing copy every day, and it needs to sound like a person
- Comfortable in the numbers β you can look at an ad account or campaign report and say what we should do about it, not just what happened
- Hands-on email marketing experience in Klaviyo or similar (Mailchimp, Omnisend, Attentive β we will get you up to speed on our setup)
- Strong design execution in Canva, plus enough short-form video sense to direct an editor well
- The confidence to reject work that is not good enough, including your own
- Organised enough to run a weekly machine without being chased
- Your own laptop and a reliable internet connection
Nice to have:
- Experience briefing and managing UGC creators or freelancers
- Photoshop, or hands-on CapCut editing
- Meta Ads Manager familiarity
- Shopify basics
- Craft or hobby audience experience β or you are a maker yourself
What you will get
- Real ownership of marketing for a profitable, growing brand
- Salary pegged to GBP
- The freedom to change how things are done β your ideas ship
- Remote-first with flexible hours around a UK-overlap core. UK hours of 9am - 5:30pm.
- 18 days paid leave plus South African public holidays
- A clear growth path to Marketing Manager as the team builds around you
How to apply
Email [email protected] with:
- Your CV
- Suggest a creator you would work with to create a short video ad for our Marbelux Home Decor craft kit, and why.
- An ad angle you would test for our Marbelux casting powder, and why you think it would work. A paragraph is plenty. Let us know what you would want to look at to help come to this decision.
- A campaign (newsletter or meta) or ad that underperformed for you - how you worked out why, and what you did next. A few paragraphs.
We read every application properly, and we care about the thinking far more than the polish. Applications without answers to 3 and 4 will not be considered.
