Growth Marketing Operator

Is this job info correct?

Growth Marketing Operator Build the inbound pipeline. Write the narrative. Own the outcome. Most “growth” roles hand you a playbook and tell you to run it. This one hands you an outline on a whiteboard where you fill in the blanks (and update after testing). You'll drive DOM's inbound pipeline through hands-on marketing execution – email, GEO, CRO, social, and web – plus sourcing the speaking opportunities that build visibility and feed that same pipeline. You'll enhance decks that move prospects closer to signing. You’ll also pick up whatever else the growth engine needs, including supporting events and sales-led partnerships. And when something new comes up (because at a mid-sized agency, something new always comes up), you're the person who says “on it,” not “that's not my job.” If you want a role with a rigid lane and a predictable Tuesday, this isn't it. If you want real ownership, fast, keep reading. The Role This isn't a role where you stay in your lane – because there isn't one. You'll take direction from agency leadership and turn it into finished work fast, without waiting for a fully scoped brief. That Means You run point on initiatives, not just support them You move on a half-formed idea, not a polished brief You write the words that turn a visitor into a lead, not just edit someone else's You'll be in the loop with agency leadership daily, with the freedom to pick up whatever the growth engine needs next. What You'll Own Drive inbound growth This is the core of the role, full stop – everything below serves this. Execute hands-on marketing across email, Generative Engine Optimization (GEO), Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO), social media, and web to generate inbound MQLs – the headline measure of success in this role. Identify and apply DOM thought leaders to relevant conferences, panels, and podcasts. Speaking builds visibility, and visibility is another lever for inbound demand. Test, iterate, and share what's working (and what isn't) as you go. Write what sells Not content for content's sake. The stuff that closes. Produce sales enablement collateral, e.g. prospect decks, proposals, one-pagers, and email cadences Contribute email newsletters and website / landing page copy as needed Keep the trains running The unglamorous stuff that makes everything else possible. Maintain reporting on key growth initiatives; communicate progress clearly with internal teams Support event logistics for conferences, podcasts, and self-hosted events, including coordinating travel once you're booked to speak Provide occasional coordination support to sales on active partnerships QA your own work and keep pace with digital marketing best practices and trends What Success Looks Like Inbound MQLs grow consistently through your marketing execution, across channels and speaking opportunities alike Sharp, timely sales enablement collateral that actually helps close deals Leadership hands you a new priority and doesn't think about it again until it's done Who You Are 3-5+ years of marketing experience, specifically in a B2B services environment Excellent, persuasive business writing skills, particularly for sales enablement content (we’ll ask for writing samples) Strong hands-on execution across email, GEO, CRO, social, and web; this role is a generalist by design, not a specialist in any one channel Comfortable with tools like Google Analytics, HubSpot, & Semrush You're Also Biased to action: moving quickly from direction to finished work Adaptable: comfortable without a narrowly defined lane, energized by variety Client- and results-centric, with a long-term view of what builds trust and wins It's a Plus If You Have… Worked in an agency, especially in a marketing role for the agency Experience managing a speaking / conference calendar Created sales decks Exposure to GEO, SEO, or CRO Supported a partnership or channel program What You Get Flexible, hybrid schedule Work remotely 4 days per week, with in-office collaboration on Thursdays (10am-3pm) Standard 40-45 hour week, with flexibility in your schedule as long as you're online during core hours Some travel (anticipated 7-15%) for speaking engagements, partner meetings, and events Compensation & Financial Benefits Competitive salary + annual performance-based increases 401(k) Health & Wellness Medical, dental, and vision coverage Short-term disability Time Off & Balance PTO + paid holidays + floating holiday Annual volunteer day Parental leave Growth & Development Ongoing training and development Clear structure and alignment through EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) Team & Culture “No Jerks” policy – we mean it Regular team events and collaboration Since 2006, DOM has helped businesses grow through data-driven digital marketing. We're disciplined, transparent, and we won't be out-communicated – by clients, or by each other. We're a mid-sized agency, which means the person in this role can actually be seen, actually build a reputation, and actually move the needle. That's a lot harder to pull off somewhere with forty layers between you and the outcome. If you're the type who sees a gap and just fills it and would rather be three moves into solving a problem than waiting for the full brief, let's talk! Direct Online Marketing is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE).
