Growth Marketing Specialist
About eXpand AD
eXpand AD is a growth marketing agency serving B2B businesses across the United States and Canada. We help businesses generate qualified leads, acquire customers, and strengthen their digital presence.
Position Overview
The Growth Marketing Specialist manages content marketing, GoHighLevel (GHL) CRM operations, lead generation, and sales execution for eXpand AD and its clients. The role also includes social media management, reporting, and basic website support.
Key Responsibilities
1. Content Marketing and Social Media
- Produce at least 5 complete content packages per week for eXpand AD and its clients.
- Develop content concepts and calendars aligned with client briefs, brand guidelines, target audiences, and marketing objectives.
- Create copy, graphics, carousels, short-form videos, captions, and calls to action.
- Adapt approved content for LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, and other relevant platforms.
- Use Canva and AI tools to support content production.
- Schedule and publish approved content; monitor reach, engagement, clicks, inquiries, and leads where measurable.
- Support WordPress publishing and basic SEO and generative engine optimization (GEO).
- Maintain organized content files and publication schedules.
Content package definition: One campaign-ready deliverable containing the relevant concept, copy, creative assets or video, captions, and calls to action as appropriate. Repurposing the same package across platforms does not count as an additional package. Five packages is the weekly minimum, not a maximum.
2. GoHighLevel CRM and Automation
- Maintain accurate contacts, lead sources, pipeline stages, tasks, and follow-up dates.
- Manage opportunities from initial lead entry through closed-won or closed-lost status.
- Configure and maintain approved workflows, calendars, email sequences, and basic automations.
- Investigate failed actions, duplicate messages, and missed follow-ups.
- Ensure active opportunities have a documented status and next step.
- Update CRM records within one business day of relevant activity.
- Improve pipeline visibility, automation reliability, and follow-up processes.
- Support approved client CRM tasks within the assigned scope.
3. Sales and Customer Acquisition
- Research businesses and decision-makers in the United States and Canada.
- Build targeted prospect lists and conduct personalized outbound outreach through approved channels.
- Qualify prospects based on business fit, need, authority, timing, and budget where ascertainable.
- Manage follow-ups, book discovery meetings, handle objections, prepare approved proposals, and close deals within delegated authority.
- Track sales activity, proposals, opportunity outcomes, customer acquisition, and revenue through GoHighLevel.
- Analyze lost opportunities and recommend improvements to outreach and conversion.
Monthly sales target: 10 new paying customers.
A completed deal means a new customer purchasing an approved eXpand AD service, recorded in GoHighLevel and verified under the company's sales process. Leads, meetings, and proposals alone do not count. Performance will be assessed in context of lead availability and quality, offer competitiveness, sales-cycle length, resources, and timely commercial approvals.
4. Reporting and Coordination
- Submit one consolidated weekly report covering content output, measurable performance, CRM activity, qualified leads, meetings, pipeline progression, closed deals, revenue where available, blockers, and next steps.
- Maintain accurate records and communicate issues promptly.
- Follow approved client communication and campaign procedures.
- Obtain approval before committing to pricing, proposals, discounts, campaigns, or other external commercial commitments.
- Flag capacity constraints and deadline risks promptly.
Work Prioritization
The role is limited to 20 hours per week. Unless otherwise directed, priorities are:
- Scheduled content deliverables and urgent client commitments.
- Active sales opportunities, follow-ups, and meetings.
- CRM accuracy, pipeline maintenance, and automation reliability.
- Website support and other improvements.
The specialist must communicate competing deadlines and capacity constraints promptly.
First 14 Days
The initial 14 days focus on onboarding, understanding company services and target customers, learning brand standards, verifying system access, and establishing an actionable sales pipeline.
Expected activities:
- Complete onboarding and review services, target audiences, and sales materials.
- Review existing marketing assets, calendars, brand guidelines, and client requirements.
- Verify access to GoHighLevel, WordPress, Canva, AI tools, and other required systems.
- Establish a content production and publishing schedule.
- Begin producing at least 5 complete content packages per week.
- Review the sales pipeline, identify follow-up opportunities, and begin prospecting.
- Verify CRM data quality and identify workflow issues.
- Submit weekly progress reports.
The manager will review progress at day 14 and agree on subsequent priorities. Initial performance will account for onboarding, access, lead availability, approval turnaround, and sales-cycle length. The ongoing target of 10 new paying customers per month remains the commercial objective.
Required Qualifications

- At least 2 years of direct sales experience, including prospecting, qualification, follow-up, and closing.

Performance Management
Performance will be reviewed through regular check-ins and a weekly scorecard covering:
