GTM Engineer

As we scale, we're looking for a builder who is passionate about using AI, automation, and modern GTM technologies to create smarter, faster, and more efficient revenue processes. About the Role Onyx is looking for a GTM Engineer to architect and build AI-native systems that power our revenue organization. In this role, you will leverage AI, automation, and data to improve pipeline generation, optimize sales workflows, and enable our GTM teams to operate at scale. This is a highly technical, hands-on role for someone who enjoys building systems, experimenting with new technologies, and shipping solutions that have a measurable impact on business performance. Requirements What You Will Do Design and build AI-powered workflows that improve prospecting, account research, lead routing, and sales productivity. Build and maintain automated enrichment pipelines using firmographic, technographic, intent, and behavioral signals. Design and optimize lead scoring, account prioritization, and routing logic to improve pipeline quality and speed-to-lead. Integrate and automate workflows across Salesforce and the broader GTM technology stack. Evaluate, prototype, and deploy emerging AI tools, agents, and automation technologies that improve GTM efficiency. Design experiments to measure the impact of new workflows, automation, and AI-driven processes. Build dashboards and reporting that provide visibility into pipeline generation, conversion, and operational performance. Partner closely with Revenue Operations, Sales, SDR, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to identify opportunities for automation and process improvement. Continuously optimize GTM systems to reduce manual work, improve data quality, and increase operational efficiency. What You Will Bring 3–6 years of experience in GTM Engineering, Revenue Operations, Sales Engineering, Growth Engineering, or a similar technical role. Experience working in a high-growth B2B SaaS or startup environment. Hands-on experience building automation using tools such as Clay, Zapier, Workato, Make, n8n, or similar platforms. Experience working with Salesforce and modern GTM technology stacks. Practical experience applying AI, LLMs, or AI agents to automate business workflows. Strong understanding of APIs, integrations, data pipelines, and workflow automation. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a builder's mindset. Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills. Nice to Have Experience with enrichment platforms such as ZoomInfo, Apollo, Clearbit, or similar tools. Experience building AI agents or autonomous workflows for business applications. Familiarity with SQL, Python, JavaScript, or other scripting languages. Experience designing experiments and measuring GTM performance through data.
