HDI Global Insurance is searching for a Guidewire Policy Center Developer who will play an important role in automating business processes and developing technology solutions that support operational efficiency and profitability. This role requires strong analytical and technical skills, along with the ability to manage projects and collaborate effectively across teams. The Developer will analyze data, provide recommendations and business insights, and contribute both independently and collaboratively to the development and delivery of assigned projects.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and implement solutions using Guidewire Policy Center to automate business processes and improve operational efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain applications using Guidewire Policy Center and related technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
  • Provide subject-matter expertise related to system design, data modeling, architecture, and integration strategies.
  • Participate in the full development lifecycle, from MVP development through implementation and deployment.
  • Analyze data and business requirements to develop recommendations and provide actionable business insights.
  • Perform development work both independently and as part of a collaborative project team.
  • Ensure solutions meet established standards for quality, functionality, and performance.
  • Research emerging technologies and industry trends to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Support enterprise integration, impact analysis, and ongoing enhancements to Guidewire solutions.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field with 5+ years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree with 3+ years of relevant experience.
  • Hands-on experience with Guidewire Policy Center development.
  • Proficiency in Java and/or C#, Gosu, and XML.
  • Strong understanding of the Guidewire Data Model.
  • Guidewire Professional or ACE certification preferred.
  • Experience with business intelligence, data warehousing, enterprise integration, and impact analysis preferred.
  • Familiarity with management reporting and decision-support systems.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical skills.
  • Ability to effectively manage priorities and contribute to projects throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills with the ability to work effectively across teams.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and staying current with emerging technologies and industry trends.
Compensation and Benefits:
Base salary range for this position is $125,000 – $135,000, plus eligibility for a performance-based annual bonus. Actual compensation will be based on a variety of factors including experience, education, and location.
