[Hanoi] Fullstack Engineer (NodeJS, ReactJS) - Remote, Eng Fluent

Join a night-shift team supporting an international enterprise client, owning both Frontend and Backend code quality with high autonomy and minimal real-time supervision

Job Responsibilities

1. Core Development & Architecture:

• Take full ownership of feature implementation, code quality, and refactoring across web applications and integrated backend microservices
• Lead architectural discussions, enforce design patterns, and ensure compliance with security and performance benchmarks
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and gRPC services, ensuring proper async handling and caching strategies on the frontend

2. High-Autonomy Asynchronous Execution:

• Proactively unblock technical challenges without real-time daytime supervision
• Conduct structured, transparent daily handover reports with daytime technical leads

3. Client Collaboration:

• Act as the direct engineering touchpoint for international client stakeholders during their daytime hours
• Clarify user stories, review pull requests, and demo completed outputs in clear English

JOB REQUIREMENTS

1. Tech Stack - Frontend

• TypeScript, Modern JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3/PostCSS
• Remix/React, VueJS
• State & Styling: React Hooks, Context/Zustand, TailwindCSS/CSS Modules
• RESTful APIs, Fetch API, WebSocket; async rendering and caching handling

2. Tech Stack - Backend

• TypeScript (Strict Mode), SQL (Postgres dialect) / Java
• Node.js (v18+ LTS), gRPC framework, REST APIs
• PostgreSQL on AWS RDS
• Drizzle ORM
• Tooling: LocalStack, Telepresence, Podman, Insomnia (gRPC client), kubectl

3. Required

• 4+ years (PreSenior) to 7+ years (Lead) of intensive software engineering experience
• Solid understanding of Git workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud environments (AWS/GCP)
• Strong proficiency in RESTful APIs, gRPC, GraphQL, and microservices architecture
• Independent, fluent English (listening, speaking, reading, writing); able to work directly with overseas technical leads and product owners without an intermediary
• Experience working in a dedicated model with enterprise clients
• Willing and able to work full night shift, Monday to Friday (GMT+7)

4. Preferred

• Experience with distributed systems, service mesh, or high-load microservices environments
• Familiarity with local development tooling for microservices (Telepresence, Podman/Docker, LocalStack)
• Experience mentoring or leading a small engineering team.

Working type: Remote Fulltime (Night shift)

Working time: Monday to Friday, 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM or 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM
