Head Accountant

We’re Hiring: Head Accountant | Remote, Ukraine 🇺🇦

International company working with the U.S. market is looking for an experienced Head Accountant to organize and manage the accounting function while remaining hands-on with key accounting processes.

Key responsibilities:

• Month-end close, GL & reconciliations

• AP/AR and payroll accounting oversight

• Tax management & coordination with U.S. CPA/tax advisors

• Fixed assets & inventory accounting

• Internal controls and accounting process improvement

• Management reporting, budgeting & forecasting support

• Supervision of Billing & Accounting Specialist

What we’re looking for:

• Strong hands-on accounting experience

• Experience with month-end close & reconciliations

• Understanding of IFRS / international reporting principles

• Ability to work with US GAAP vs. IFRS differences when required

• Good English for communication with U.S. colleagues and advisors

• Strong Excel/spreadsheet & accounting systems skills

• Basic experience with AI tools is a plus

📍 Remote | Ukraine

🕐 Regular 2–3 hour overlap with California business hours

📄 Initial 3-month service contract with Ukrainian FOP
