Senior Accountant We are looking for a sharp Senior Accountant to own our global financial foundation and drive our scalability as we expand worldwide! Role Description Amuse is scaling rapidly - expanding our global operations, growing our artist base, and building the infrastructure to match. To support that growth, we're looking for a driven, structured and analytically sharp Senior Accountant to join our Finance team, reporting directly to the CFO. This is a key role for someone who wants to take ownership over the accounting foundation of a growing international business, while also helping build the financial processes, controls, reporting structures, and automation capabilities needed for the future. We are looking for someone who combines strong technical accounting skills, commercial curiosity and a genuine hands-on mentality to build a best- in-class finance function. What you will do Own all accounting operations across the group, including general ledger, monthly and annual closings, reconciliations, financial reporting, tax filings, and statutory compliance. Ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial processes of the Swedish AB and international subsidiaries, in line with accounting standards, internal policies, and regulatory requirements. Drive high-quality monthly close processes, improving structure, documentation, timelines, accountability and transparency. Support cash flow monitoring and liquidity planning and working capital visibility. Coordinate audits and manage relationships with external auditors, advisors, banks, and authorities. Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and scalable finance routines and internal controls, using modern systems, AI tools and automation to improve efficiency, quality and insight across the finance function. Support the development of management reporting, budgeting, and controlling processes over time. Partner cross-functionally with internal teams on financial and business matters, including supporting royalty accounting. Act as a trusted right hand to the CFO, bringing structure, analysis, and execution power to a fast-evolving finance agenda. Your Qualifications 5+ years of experience in accounting, audit, finance or a related role, ideally from a fast-paced, international or scale-up environment. Experience from a Big 4 or equivalent audit/advisory firm is a plus, as is prior in-house finance experience. Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related field with outstanding results. Strong knowledge of Swedish accounting, statutory reporting, VAT, tax compliance, and financial controls. Solid technical accounting skills, including revenue recognition, accruals, intercompany flows, and reconciliations. Strong Excel and analytical skills, with the ability to work confidently with data, systems, and financial reporting. Experience with Netsuite is a plus. A strong interest in AI tools, automation, workflow optimisation, and modern finance technologies. Fluency in both Swedish and English, written and spoken. Experience from the music, tech or media industries and working with royalty accounting or complex revenue flows is a plus.
