Lead six of Sweden's sharpest HR experts. Decide what Swedish employers read about HR and labour law. Improve ways of working with AI. Work close to our product managers and developers to build the best HR System ever created.
Your mission
Every day, HR and payroll managers across Sweden hit a question they can't answer alone. A dismissal that has to hold up. A sick-leave case that keeps changing shape. A reorganisation that has to be done right. They turn to Simployer Expert, our knowledge service for Swedish labour law, payroll and HR. Some search for the answer themselves. Some ask Sia, our AI assistant, which answers from articles our own experts have written. And when the question is too risky, if they need a second opinion or a sanity check before pressing send, they can contact a named HR Expert by phone or message. Our customers are never left alone.
Behind all sits a team of six experts in Stockholm and Gothenburg. You will lead them.
The work has four parts, and they feed each other. You lead the team, the 1:1s, the development, the difficult conversations. You own the Swedish content plan, which means deciding what gets written and why, based on what customers actually ask and search for. And because that same content is what our AI Sia answers from, your editorial calls are product calls: when the AI gets something wrong, your experts fix the source it learned from.
You will improve the experts ways of working by finding new ways of using AI to increase customer value and boost productivity.
You'll sit close to the people building the product. Not as a stakeholder receiving a roadmap, but in the room where it gets prioritized, testing what we ship and saying plainly when it doesn't work for a Swedish customer. The product managers decide. You're one of the voices they listen to hardest.
And you'll be our face in Swedish HR: on stage, in the panel, writing under your own name, in the rooms where the industry actually meets.
You'll thrive here if..
You've led people before, ideally specialists who know their subject better than you do, and expect their manager to earn the room
You've held a team together through real conflict and come out with the relationships intact
You read the numbers on your own business, churn, usage, retention, and turn them into priorities rather than reports
You're as curious about the commercial side as the professional one
You already use AI in your own work, and you have a view on what it is doing to knowledge professions
You'd rather be visible than comfortable - this role is meant to be seen
You work independently
What you bring:
Documented experience managing people. You do not need to be an employment-law expert yourself, that's what the six advisors are, and they're among the best in Sweden. What you need is enough general HR knowledge to understand what they do and why it matters to a customer, and a real feel for the Swedish HR market: what employers are wrestling with right now, where the field is heading, and who's driving the conversation.
Based in Stockholm, in the office every week, and in Gothenburg regularly. Comfortable in Swedish and English; Norwegian is a bonus.
Message from the hiring manager:
"I took over Knowledge in April, and the thing that struck me first was how good these experts are, and how little the market knows it. My honest pitch: You're coming in to give six very capable people a leader who's actually present, a plan that starts from what Swedish customers ask for, and a louder voice in a market that should already know our names. Come and make that happen."
