Head of Application Engineering APAC APC

About this Position In this regional role, you will lead the APAC Application Engineering team for Consumer Goods in Adhesives Technologies as a member of the regional leadership team. You will lead a team of Application Engineer Managers in supporting the commercial team to execute customer technical support projects, while serving as the interface with Product Development and Innovation teams to deliver value through customer-centric innovations. What you´ll do Drive development of an end-to-end customer experience from identifying new value propositions to enhancing customer service Lead Application Centers across the region to deliver sustainable and innovative solutions, ensuring highest degree of customer satisfaction Use market and customer insights to identify evolving industry trends, unmet needs, and new application opportunities across APAC region for the Packaging and Labelling, Personal Hygiene, Sports & Fashion market segments Drive stakeholder alignment across end users, internal teams, and cross-functional departments to support execution and customer-focused outcomes Develop and evaluate KPIs, leveraging digital tools and data-driven decisions to drive innovation, continuous improvement, operational excellence, and team performance Strengthen Application Engineering capabilities, processes, trainings and safety standards, while representing APAC in the global Application Engineering community Responsible for customer technical trainings via appropriate formats: academies, webinars, at customer site, at Henkel facilities, etc. Leverage customer feedback to align global/regional SBU projects in creating joint value Collaborate closely with other teams, such as Sales, Marketing, Product Development and Innovation What makes you a good fit Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Science, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field Minimum 10 years of relevant experience Proven people leadership experience, with a strong track record of building, developing, and leading diverse, high-performing teams Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills Strong strategic thinking, commercial acumen, and analytical problem-solving capabilities Demonstrated ability in working with a cross functional Sales/Product Development/Marketing team is highly desirable Fluent in English; additional language skills are an advantage Some perks of joining Henkel Flexible work scheme with flexible hours, hybrid work model, and work from anywhere policy for up to 30 days per year Diverse national and international growth opportunities Global wellbeing standards with health and preventive care programs Gender-neutral parental leave for a minimum of 8 weeks Employee Share Plan with voluntary investment and Henkel matching shares Comprehensive Group Insurance Scheme Annual Physical Examination Flexible Benefits cover for dependents Company Products Discount At Henkel, we come from a broad range of backgrounds, perspectives, and life experiences.
