About the Role

We are looking for our next Head of Channels, India to lead our channel organization to great things! Reporting to Check Point Regional Director for India, this role is responsible for building the partner ecosystem in the region which is instrumental in driving sales of our technology into enterprise and mid-market customers. This individual will need to be results driven with proven experience in partner management to develop a network of partners with deep capability and high-quality delivery capabilities and grow the Check Point business. This role would be the focal point to ensure that we are continuing to gain traction in net new customers in the region.

The incumbent will also be part of the India Leadership team and serve as a key contributor towards broader business growth and strategy in the cybersecurity industry.

Role Responsibilities

  • Driving, developing and enabling Check Point Channel Partners across India.
  • Create a valid business plan, execute and adjust based on market changes.
  • Coordinate all the actors in these leads: Partners, Distributors and Marketing, etc.
  • Regularly attend End User sales appointments with Channel Partners.
  • Build a strong pipeline based on existing customers and new business creation.
  • Maintain strong relationship with partners at all levels and recruit new resellers.
  • Provide regular pipeline updates and lead generation activity reports.
  • Provide sales / marketing campaign support to resellers.
  • Educate and train the dedicated channels.
  • Work closely with regional sales/channel team to map key partners to target and create awareness through various partner events, webcasts, and face-face meetings
  • Conduct assessment review for potential partners to determine strategic fit and mutual commitments that stimulates long-term revenue growth and business outcome
  • Provide guidance and onboarding of new partners to ensure a consistent and high standard of services delivery
  • Establish tangible objectives, goals, and priorities, and create performance measures for partners
  • Establish regular review meetings with both internal stakeholders and partners to ensure close alignment between sales/channel and service strategies
  • Be a key contributor to the regional channel strategy and drive the implementation of standardized global and geography programs that account for geographical differences

Desired Skills and Experience

  • At least 12 years of relevant experience in corporate channel partner management
  • Proven track record of managing and identifying new distribution partners
  • Excellent understanding of growing and sustaining businesses in a highly competitive and changing marketplace
  • Demonstrated ability to drive significant influenced revenue through partnerships.
  • Strong track record of exceeding revenue targets
  • Sound business acumen skills; thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
  • Able to strategically identify and build key relationships with partners including Service Providers, Global SIs, Resellers, Distributors, and other technology partners
  • Proven ability to manage partners through regular reviews of key performance metrics and plan enablement activities
  • Possessing a customer service mentality, and knowledge of appropriate organizational strategy to fully support and be successful with key partners
  • Exceptional problem solving, critical thinking and decision-making skills
