Head of Core Operations 12 month FTC This is a critical leadership role responsible for the end-to-end performance of SEBL's operational functions, ensuring efficient, compliant, and high-quality delivery across onboarding, metering and settlement, gas operations, and technical billing. The role will provide strategic and operational leadership to drive operational excellence, reduce cost-to-serve, and safeguard customer and business outcomes, while supporting SEBL's recovery and long-term growth ambitions. You will lead the transformation and continuous improvement of Core Operations, embedding a high-performance, data-driven culture focused on accountability, efficiency, and service excellence. You will ensure operational readiness for change, strengthen governance and compliance, optimise processes and resources, and develop high-performing teams capable of delivering sustainable operational and commercial results. What skills/experience do I need to be successful? Extensive senior leadership experience managing complex operational functions, large teams, and multi-layered delivery environments; Strong technical and operational expertise across energy operations, including metering, settlement, gas operations, billing, and revenue assurance; Proven track record of delivering operational transformation, process optimisation, automation, and embedding sustainable change; Strong understanding of regulatory requirements, risk management, operational controls, and compliance within regulated environments.
