Job Summary
The Head of Corporate Platforms is responsible for leading the strategy, delivery, integration, governance, and continuous improvement of the organization’s corporate technology platforms. Platforms may include SAP, Workday, Bullhorn, Beeline, Scout, ZingHR, and other systems that support corporate functions, workforce operations, finance, procurement, human resources, staffing, vendor management, and enterprise operations. This role reports to the VP of Enterprise Platforms under the Chief Operating Officer and is accountable for ensuring corporate platforms are scalable, secure, integrated, user-centered, and aligned to enterprise business objectives.
Essential Job Responsibilities
- Corporate Platform Strategy: Define and execute the roadmap for corporate platforms, including SAP, Workday, Bullhorn, Beeline, Scout, ZingHR, and other enterprise systems. Ensure platform investments support corporate operations, process efficiency, compliance, data integrity, and enterprise scalability.
- Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and lead a team of platform owners. Foster collaboration, accountability, technical excellence, and a strong service orientation to corporate functions and business stakeholders.
- Technical and Solution Oversight: Oversee platform architecture, configuration, integrations, data flows, release management, security, access controls, and production support. Ensure solutions are designed for usability, reliability, compliance, maintainability, and alignment with enterprise architecture standards.
- Corporate Process Enablement: Drive continuous improvement across core corporate processes, including finance operations, HR service delivery, workforce management, procurement, vendor management, staffing operations, approvals, reporting, and handoffs to downstream operational and financial systems.
- Cross-Functional Business Partnership: Partner with Finance, HR, Procurement, Legal, Operations, IT, and business leaders to understand business needs, prioritize demand, resolve issues, and deliver platform capabilities that improve corporate outcomes and user adoption.
- Platform Optimization and Innovation: Identify opportunities to simplify processes, reduce manual work, improve service delivery, enhance employee and stakeholder experiences, and leverage automation, analytics, AI-enabled capabilities, and emerging platform features where appropriate.
- Governance, Risk, and Compliance: Establish platform governance, prioritization, access controls, data stewardship, documentation, testing, change management, and compliance practices. Ensure corporate data is protected and platform changes are delivered with appropriate controls, communication, and audit readiness.
- Qualifications & Requirements
Required Experience:- 10+ years of experience leading enterprise applications, corporate platforms, HR technology, finance or procurement systems, workforce technology, staffing platforms, or digital transformation initiatives, with significant experience supporting enterprise-wide corporate operations.
Technical Expertise:- Deep knowledge of corporate platform ecosystems, including, workflow automation, integrations, data management, reporting, security, and user support models.
- Experience with platform architecture, system integrations, release management, Agile delivery, DevOps practices, data governance, internal controls, access management, compliance requirements, and enterprise application lifecycle management.
- Leadership Skills:
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage platform budgets and vendor relationships, prioritize demand, influence senior stakeholders, and deliver complex enterprise initiatives on time with measurable business impact.
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, Engineering, Human Resources, Finance, or a related field preferred. Relevant certifications in SAP, Workday, Agile, enterprise architecture, product management, IT service management, or platform administration are a plus.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong executive communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business needs into scalable platform capabilities and explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences. Demonstrated ability to balance strategic vision with hands-on operational execution.
- Deep knowledge of corporate platform ecosystems, including, workflow automation, integrations, data management, reporting, security, and user support models.
