We're working with a fast-growing tax technology business building an AI-driven product revolutionising an industry from manual processes to AI driven automation.

Ideally you live in the London area but remote is an option with occasional office visits.

What they need:

• Led engineering through a similar stage — scaling product, team, and infrastructure at a growth-stage SaaS/AI business
• Built with proper guardrails — comes from a structured, process-driven background (regulated, fintech, or enterprise SaaS), not a "move fast and hope" shop. Understands compliance, auditability, and data governance aren't optional in tax
• Genuinely commercial — comfortable sitting in front of customers, translating technical architecture into trust and ROI, not hiding behind the team
• Still building — wants to be hands-on shaping product direction, not just managing
