Role Description

The Head of Finance is a full-time volunteer remote role responsible for overseeing all financial activities of Female Leadership Society.

This position manages financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting, and ensures accurate and timely financial reporting to leadership and stakeholders. Day-to-day tasks include preparing and reviewing financial statements, monitoring cash flow, managing financial controls and compliance, and providing data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making. The Head of Finance will collaborate closely with executive leadership to align financial strategies with the organization’s mission and growth objectives, and may coordinate with external accountants, auditors, and partners as needed.

Master in Finance from top business school and MBA is a plus.

• Proficiency in Financial Modelling, Corporate Finance and Financial Reporting, with the ability to interpret and present financial data to non-financial stakeholders.

• Experience with Budgeting, including developing, managing, and optimizing budgets aligned with organizational priorities.
• Advanced Analytical Skills for translating financial metrics into strategic recommendations and risk assessments.
• English speaker
• Experience in non-profit, membership-based, or mission-driven organizations is an advantage.
• Knowledge of relevant accounting standards and financial compliance requirements.
• Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in a remote, collaborative environment.
• Highly motivated and reliable individual
