This group-wide leadership role oversees governance and executive coordination across all three St. George’s schools in Germany and offers a hybrid working arrangement, with regular travel between the schools required.

Main Responsibilities

The Head of Governance & Executive Coordination is a group-wide leadership role responsible for ensuring organisational coherence, effective governance and strategic alignment across all three St. George’s schools in Germany. Working closely with the Executive Board, School Directors and Group Headquarters, the postholder facilitates strategic coordination, manages significant compliance matters and supports responses to emerging risks and incidents. The role requires sound judgement, discretion and the ability to navigate complex issues across multiple functions and schools.

  • Excellent analytical, organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities independently
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear policies, reports, briefings and formal correspondence
  • Strong interpersonal and diplomatic skills, with the confidence to exercise independent judgement and navigate sensitive matters
  • High level of digital competence and confidence in working with organisational systems and information
  • Fluent written and spoken English; German language skills are an advantage
  • A discreet, proactive and solutions-focused approach, with the ability to handle confidential information and complex situations with professionalism and sound judgement
