Head of Investments

Role Description The Head of Investments at DAC YREN dispositif d'appui à la coordination is a part-time, remote role focused on overseeing the organization’s investment activities and portfolio performance. This role is responsible for designing and implementing investment strategies aligned with organizational objectives, monitoring market trends, and assessing risk and return across asset classes. The Head of Investments will review and optimize existing investments, prepare regular performance reports, and provide clear recommendations to leadership and stakeholders. Day-to-day tasks include conducting financial and market analysis, managing relationships with external advisors or partners, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and contributing to long-term financial planning and capital allocation decisions.
Qualifications

• Demonstrated expertise in Investment Management and Investments, with a track record of managing diversified portfolios.
• Strong knowledge of Investment Strategies, including development, assessment, and optimization of strategic asset allocations.
• Advanced Analytical Skills applied to financial modeling, risk assessment, and performance evaluation.
• Solid foundation in Finance, including corporate finance, capital markets, and financial reporting.
• Experience in a senior investment, asset management, or financial leadership role, preferably in impact-driven or mission-oriented organizations.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage multiple priorities, and communicate complex financial concepts clearly to non-specialist stakeholders.
• Proficiency with investment analysis tools and financial software; familiarity with regulatory and compliance frameworks relevant to investments.
• Relevant academic background, such as a degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CFA) are an asset.
