Job Description

Head of Marketing

Fully Remote | International Scope | Permanent Position

About the Opportunity

PeoItaly is recruiting a Head of Marketing on behalf of an international healthcare education organisation connecting students and future healthcare professionals with immersive educational experiences across Europe.

Its international community includes future doctors, nurses, veterinarians, researchers and healthcare professionals from around the world.

As the organisation continues to grow, we are looking for a data-driven, hands-on Head of Marketing to lead its next stage of international growth.

This is an opportunity to combine strategy, people leadership, analytics and hands-on execution, with real ownership of the marketing function in a fully remote and international environment.

The Role

As Head of Marketing, you will bring together CRM, social, influencer marketing and admissions activities under one clear growth strategy.

You will own marketing priorities, KPIs, measurement and team leadership while remaining close to the data and day-to-day performance of the function.

You should be equally comfortable setting strategic direction and working directly in HubSpot, analysing funnel performance and identifying opportunities for growth.

This is not about doing the work of every marketing specialist. It is about connecting the dots, creating focus and building the systems and processes that enable a small team to perform at its best.

The opportunity could suit either an established Marketing Manager/Head of Marketing or someone ready to take on their first Head of Marketing position after developing strong CRM, performance or analytical marketing expertise alongside people-management experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and own an integrated marketing strategy aligned with business and admissions objectives.
  • Connect CRM, social, influencer and admissions activities around shared targets and KPIs.
  • Own marketing measurement, reporting and attribution across the customer journey.
  • Analyse acquisition, conversion, channel performance and ROI and translate insights into clear actions.
  • Optimise HubSpot, including segmentation, lifecycle marketing, automation, lead management, reporting and data quality.
  • Manage and develop a small team of marketing specialists, setting clear priorities, ownership and targets.
  • Build scalable dashboards, reporting frameworks and repeatable marketing processes.
  • Work closely with admissions and other internal teams to ensure marketing activity translates into measurable business results.

What We're Looking For

  • Strong experience in CRM, performance, growth or data-driven B2C marketing.
  • Hands-on HubSpot experience, including reporting, segmentation, automation and funnel management.
  • Excellent analytical skills and confidence working directly with marketing and customer data.
  • Strong understanding of customer acquisition, conversion funnels, attribution and marketing ROI.
  • Experience building dashboards, reporting frameworks and repeatable processes.
  • People-management experience, ideally within a small or growing team.
  • Ability to move comfortably between strategy and hands-on execution.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with sales, admissions or another conversion-focused team.
  • Strong commercial judgement and prioritisation skills.
  • English proficiency at C1/C2 level, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Experience in a startup, scale-up or entrepreneurial environment would be particularly valuable.

A strong B2C background is preferred. Experience in education, healthcare education or another high-consideration consumer journey would be advantageous but is not essential.

Compensation & Contractual Framework

Gross annual base salary (RAL): €40,000–€70,000

The position within the range will be determined using objective, gender-neutral and role-related criteria, including relevant experience, skills and level of responsibility.

  • Employment model: Permanent Placement – direct employment by the client
  • Contract: Permanent employment
  • Applicable collective bargaining agreement: CCNL Commercio
  • Working model: 100% remote
  • Scope: European and international
  • Annual leave: 20 days + applicable public holidays
  • Access to selected healthcare and wellbeing services

Interview Process

1. First Interview

Experience, motivation, leadership style and overall fit.

2. Marketing Deep Dive

Strategy, CRM, performance, data and team leadership.

3. Practical Data Exercise

A short marketing/funnel data exercise focused on analysis, identifying opportunities and defining actions.

We are interested in practical thinking and analytical ability rather than presentation polish.

How to Apply

If you are looking for a fully remote, international role where you can combine marketing strategy, leadership, data and hands-on execution, we would be pleased to hear from you.
