​​Looking for Philippines-based candidates Job Role: Head of Meta Creatives Compensation range: $2,000 AUD - $3,000 AUD / Monthly, plus 2% of ad spend on creatives that reach at least $1,500 AUD in monthly spend and meet our performance targets. Engagement type: Independent Contractor Agreement Work Schedule: The client is based in the Netherlands/Bali, Indonesia. As a contractor, you’ll have flexibility in how you manage your time, as long as you meet the agreed expectations and minimum output requirements. Who We Are: At Hunt St, we help Australian companies hire top remote talent in the Philippines. For this role, you will be engaged directly by the client as an independent contractor. We are not an outsourcing agency. All of our roles are 100% remote so you'll be able to work from home. Who The Client Is: The client creates conversation cards designed to help people guide deeper, more meaningful conversations. What began five years ago as a personal passion project has grown into a thriving e-commerce brand with hundreds of thousands of decks sold worldwide. Growth to date has been driven almost entirely through Meta advertising. You will work alongside the founder. Role Overview: You’ll own Meta creative strategy and production, working directly with the founder. This is a hands-on role: you’ll research markets, angles, customers and competitors, develop concepts, write scripts, shoot supporting product B-roll, edit video ads, design static ads, and write the accompanying ad copy. Your output will combine original concepts, competitor-inspired adaptations, and iterations of our existing winners. You’ll use creative performance data to decide what to test next and explain the reasoning behind your decisions. Media buying, campaign setup, and budget management are outside this role. You’ll work with our media buyer to understand results and turn those insights into stronger creatives. Key Responsibilities: Research customer insights, competitor ads, and account performance to identify creative opportunities. Develop original concepts, adapt relevant competitor approaches, and iterate on our winning ads. Write high-converting Meta ad scripts. Write the accompanying ad copy: Primary text, headlines, and CTAs. Plan and shoot supporting product B-roll for use across multiple creatives. Edit footage into compelling Meta video ads with strong hooks, clear storytelling, and effective pacing. Design direct-response static ads, including copy and visual variations. Review creative results with the media buyer and recommend what to test next. Manage the weekly creative pipeline, asset library, revisions, and final delivery. Several years of hands-on experience developing, scripting, and editing direct-response Meta ads for DTC/e-commerce brands. Real understanding of creative research, customer psychology, hooks, angles, retention, pacing and direct-response creative. Able to interpret creative performance in Meta Ads Manager and translate findings into specific creative decisions. Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere, CapCut or DaVinci Resolve, with a solid grasp of Meta's placement specs — exporting the right sizes/formats as ad guidelines shift Able to independently plan and shoot high-quality product B-roll. Can write primary text, headlines and CTAs to accompany the creative when uploading as Meta Ads. Strong static ad design skills, including layout, typography, visual hierarchy, and direct-response copy. Experienced directing UGC creators/actors for A-roll to get a usable take Experience with ad research tools like Foreplay, TrendTrack or Atria. Experience with at AI video, voice and animation tools (HeyGen, ElevenLabs, Higgsfield ideal) Understands brand and creative direction well enough to write scripts independently A portfolio of ads you scripted and edited that have run behind $10,000+ per ad in paid spend. Nice to have: Interest or experience expanding creative output beyond Meta (Google, TikTok) down the track Weekly Output Targets: 4 video concepts or substantial iterations, each delivered in 3 total hook versions. 4 static concepts or substantial iterations, each delivered in 3 total copy or visual versions. Accompanying primary text, headlines, and CTAs for all creatives. The weekly mix will include original concepts, competitor-inspired adaptations, and iterations of existing winners, informed by performance data. What Success Looks Like: Deliver a consistent pipeline of well-executed, testable video and static creatives that can sustain increased ad spend. Identify patterns in results and translate them into clear recommendations for the next tests. Own the full creative loop: research, planning, and production independently, with reliable communication and minimal day-to-day direction.
