Head of Operations

Role Description The Head of Operations at Green SM India is a part-time, remote role responsible for overseeing day-to-day operational activities and ensuring that processes run smoothly across the organization. The role involves designing and improving operational frameworks, monitoring performance against key indicators, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and streamline workflows. The Head of Operations will manage resource allocation, support budgeting and cost-control initiatives, and maintain clear communication with leadership on risks, opportunities, and progress. This position also requires mentoring team members, promoting best practices, and driving continuous improvement to support sustainable business growth in a remote environment.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Operations Management skills, including process optimization and performance monitoring.
• Candidates should possess robust Analytical Skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and support informed decision-making.
• Candidates should possess effective Team Management and Communication skills to lead remote teams and collaborate across functions.
• Candidates should possess sound Budgeting skills, including planning, cost control, and resource allocation.
• Experience in strategic planning, risk management, and implementing operational best practices is beneficial.
• Previous leadership experience in operations or a similar field, ideally in a remote or distributed work environment, is preferred.
• A bachelor’s degree in business, operations management, engineering, or a related discipline is desirable; relevant experience may substitute for formal education.
• Ability to work independently, use digital collaboration tools, and adapt to changing priorities in a part-time capacity.
