Head of Operations (MCA / Alternative Lending)

We are seeking an experienced Head of Operations to join a fast-growing company in the merchant cash advance (MCA) industry. Reporting directly to the CFO, you will lead a team of five operations professionals (three onshore and two offshore), optimize core business processes, and help scale the company's operational infrastructure in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. Responsibilities Lead, mentor, and manage a team of five operations professionals. Oversee daily operations, including deal processing, payments, reporting, and workflow management. Manage operational systems, software integrations, and third-party vendors. Troubleshoot operational and system issues to ensure business continuity. Identify opportunities to improve, automate, and scale operational processes. Develop and maintain operational documentation and best practices. Partner with leadership to optimize operations and implement new technologies when beneficial. Evaluate the existing technology stack and recommend improved systems or processes where appropriate. Technology Environment You'll work with a technology stack that includes: Lend SaaS (CRM) MoneyThumb DataMerch HyperVerge Additional integrated operational tools and third-party platforms Experience with these specific tools is not required, but candidates should be comfortable working across multiple systems, managing software integrations, and collaborating with third-party vendors. Proven experience leading operations teams in a fast-paced environment. Experience in the merchant cash advance (MCA), alternative lending, fintech, or similar financial services industry is strongly preferred. Demonstrated success improving processes and scaling operational functions. Strong leadership, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Hands-on approach with the ability to balance strategic thinking and day-to-day execution. Comfortable working across multiple operational systems, software integrations, and third-party platforms. Experience evaluating and implementing process improvements and operational technologies. Startup or high-growth company experience is a strong plus.
