What you will do Reporting to the CTO, you will own the quality strategy for the whole product portfolio and lead the Quality Assurance function through this transformation. Define and drive the quality strategy, standards and practices across the product portfolio, ensuring quality and release readiness are embedded throughout the development lifecycle. Lead, coach and grow the QA function, setting its technical direction, priorities, tooling and ways of working. Establish meaningful quality metrics and reporting, providing the executive team with clear visibility on quality, risks, trends and improvement opportunities. Define and evolve the quality approach for AI-powered and agentic features, establishing how quality is evaluated, measured and monitored throughout the AI-driven development lifecycle. Drive the evolution of QA through automation, continuous testing and AI-assisted practices, improving feedback loops, efficiency and test coverage. Lead the quality approach for platform modernisation and long-lived products, ensuring reliability, functional integrity and safe evolution of the product portfolio. Own the broader quality agenda, including automation, performance, scalability, resilience and security, while ensuring appropriate compliance and auditability. Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Professional Services and Customer Success to turn quality insights and customer feedback into engineering priorities and continuous improvement. Personal profile 10+ years of experience in software quality engineering, including 5+ years leading QA teams in complex enterprise software environments. Strong experience defining QA strategy and leading the transformation of QA functions, with a track record of measurable improvements. Proven experience with software testing and automation across UI, API, integration and end-to-end layers, together with solid knowledge of modern CI/CD and cloud-native environments. Strong software engineering foundations, with hands-on experience in at least one language such as Java, Kotlin, TypeScript/JavaScript or C#, and familiarity with modern test automation frameworks such as Playwright or Selenium. Hands-on experience applying AI in a software engineering environment, including quality assurance for AI-powered products and/or the adoption of AI-assisted engineering practices within development teams. Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, risk-based testing, test automation and non-functional testing, with the ability to apply them at portfolio level. Experience working in complex, regulated or high-assurance environments where quality, traceability and compliance are important. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience leading distributed and international teams. Excellent written and spoken English.
