You'll take ownership of the team and all categories, ensuring products consistently meet the highest quality, safety and regulatory standards across Europe.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Developing and delivering the company's technical strategy
• Leading, coaching and developing a high-performing Technical team
• Driving technical excellence across product quality, safety and compliance
• Ensuring all products meet regulatory, ethical and quality standards
• Partnering closely with Category, Buying, Product Development, Sourcing and Supply Chain teams
• Managing relationships with suppliers and third-party testing partners
• Identifying opportunities to improve product performance, customer satisfaction and operational efficiency
• Providing technical leadership and influence across the wider business

You will ideally have

• Significant General Merchandise (DIY, Leisure, Toys, Electrical, Home) technical experience gained within retail, manufacturing or sourcing environments
• Strong knowledge of product compliance, safety, quality assurance and ethical standards
• A proven track record of leading and developing successful teams
