The opportunity
Lead a hybrid function that brings together technical reward expertise and broad People Operations leadership. This role spans remuneration, incentives and job architecture alongside workforce planning, HR operations, systems, analytics, talent acquisition and governance.
Our client is a global, profitable and growing business headquartered in Melbourne with a collaborative, people focused culture. Partnering closely with the CPO and wider people team you’ll build on the function’s existing strengths and evolve processes and frameworks developed for its previous operating model to support the next stage of growth.
You’ll shape group wide standards from Australia, balancing consistency with local market requirements and making it easier for leaders and the People team to plan, make decisions and deliver.
Where you’ll make an impact
Reward and job architecture. Shape a connected total reward philosophy, job families and evaluation methodology that support consistent remuneration decisions and workforce planning.
Benchmarking and incentives. Develop robust market benchmarking and executive, employee and sales incentive arrangements, linking reward to performance and calibration.
Workforce planning. Connect people, position and FTE data with business needs to support informed decisions about workforce structure and resourcing.
People operations and talent acquisition. Lead the broader enablement remit, developing repeatable HR processes, self-service and advisory support, and aligning talent acquisition with workforce priorities.
Systems and analytics. Lead HRIS strategy, people data governance and workforce reporting so leaders have reliable insights and the People team has effective tools.
Compliance and governance. Strengthen policy and vendor governance, support compliance across markets and partner with the CPO on clear, evidence based Board and RemCo papers.
About you
You bring technical credibility in reward and demonstrated capability across the broader People Operations remit. You’ve designed reward and job architecture, remuneration benchmarking and incentive frameworks and can connect these with the systems, processes and workforce insights that support a business.
Your experience extends across HR operations, HRIS, people analytics and governance, with the ability to lead talent acquisition as part of an integrated function. You’re comfortable combining strategic direction with hands-on delivery and setting standards across multiple countries.
You communicate complex analysis clearly, challenge constructively and work collaboratively with the CPO, people team and business leaders. You appreciate the journey the function has been on and bring the judgement to build on what works while shaping its future direction.
Why join
A global remit from an Australian base close partnership with the CPO and a wider people team committed to the next stage of growth. You’ll join a business with a great office, hybrid working, free breakfast and the option to purchase additional annual leave, with the opportunity to create lasting impact across reward and People Operations.
