About the Role
Lead the development of an in-house talent function at a high-growth fintech company. This player-coach role combines hands-on recruiting with talent strategy and team leadership, helping the business scale its hiring capabilities.
What You'll Do
Build and lead an in-house sourcing and full-cycle recruiting function, including hiring and managing a team of 3 to 6 recruiters.
Personally source and close engineering candidates while recruiting across go-to-market, product, design, and operations roles.
Partner with executives on headcount plans, hiring budgets, compensation frameworks, and leveling.
Track recruiting pipeline health and time-to-fill, and report on hiring data.
Establish structured interviews, calibrated scorecards, and an efficient hiring process.
Own the transition from hiring to onboarding, hire an HR generalist, and help lay the groundwork for future HR leadership.
What We're Looking For
At least 8 years of experience as a talent leader, including building and scaling an in-house talent function at a high-growth, venture-backed startup.
A track record of at least doubling company headcount, with experience scaling recruiting teams and hiring technical and non-technical talent.
Hands-on experience sourcing and closing engineering candidates, alongside close collaboration with company executives and founders.
Expertise in headcount planning, recruiting analytics, pipeline conversion, compensation, and board reporting.
Experience with applicant tracking systems and Rippling.
Must be a U.S. citizen or green card holder.
Compensation & Benefits
Annual salary range: $185,000 to $225,000. Visa sponsorship is not available.
