Key Responsibilities:

Own the AI native delivery transformation agenda across the software development life cycle, from planning through operations, with a focus on advancing AI-native ways of working across engineering teams. This role partners with CIOs, Business Unit leaders, and Engineering leads to translate business strategy into delivery roadmaps. The role drives large-scale, high-stakes transformation programs and positions AI adoption as a core measure of delivery maturity.

Delivery Transformation & Management

• Define and own the end-to-end delivery AI Tech transformation roadmap across the AI-PDLC, aligning architecture, applications, data, AI, infrastructure, and security teams with business priorities and governance requirements.

• Lead the enablement program across large-scale, multi-team, multi-geography transformation programs, establishing governance structures, success metrics, and executive reporting, including steering committee cadences.

• Manage delivery cadences, escalation paths, and risk frameworks, and drive vendor strategy and commercial negotiations to accelerate transformation and optimize cost.

• Own end-to-end delivery of multi-million-dollar programs, ensuring milestones are met and outcomes deliver measurable value.

AI Ways of Working

• Lead adoption of AI-native delivery practices across the PDLC, with hands-on experience in AI-assisted development, testing, release pipelines, and documentation.

• Drive engineering teams from AI-aware to AI-native, establishing measurable adoption milestones and a governance framework for responsible AI use.

• Identify opportunities to automate delivery coordination, risk modeling, and resource optimization through AI.

Team Leadership & Culture

• Build and lead cross-functional teams, fostering agility, accountability, and continuous improvement.

• Champion Agile and data-driven ways of working across the organization.

• Be a player coach delivery managers and facilitate workshops that help teams solve complex business challenges.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field. A Master's degree or MBA is strongly preferred.

• 20+ years of progressive experience in technology delivery, digital transformation, or enterprise program management, including at least 10 years leading large-scale delivery transformation in a global, matrixed environment.

• Expert-level understanding of the full software development life cycle, with a proven track record of re-engineering PDLC processes to improve velocity, quality, and business alignment.

• Very strong hands-on background in software engineering, cloud and infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, DevSecOps, API and integration design, and modern application architecture. Credible in solutioning alongside senior engineers and architects, with the authority to challenge technical decisions directly.

• Demonstrated experience applying AI native software engineering and large language models within an engineering context, such as AI-naive software development, automated testing, or predictive project management.

• Exceptional executive presence, with a proven ability to act as a trusted advisor to CIOs and business leaders and to translate complex technical challenges into clear business outcomes.

• Proven ability to manage multi-million-dollar technology portfolios across multiple time zones and business units, and to connect delivery performance to financial returns, P&L impact, and competitive advantage.
