Location: For Those Who Work At Home, Ohio Job Summary KeyBank is seeking a transformative, results-driven Senior Product Leader to lead its Treasury Management Services product organization. Reporting directly to the Co-Head of Commercial Product, this role leads the team with end-to-end responsibility for strategy, development, and business performance for Checks & Cash, Electronic Payments, and Fraud Services products for Key's commercial businesses, which includes Business Banking, Middle Market, Large Corporate, and National Industry Verticals.This leader will partner closely with executives and cross-functional teams across the firm to strengthen Key's position as a leading payments provider by modernizing the portfolio for a faster, more digital, and more integrated client experience to drive deposit and fee revenue growth. They will set and drive a focused strategic agenda, manage the P&L with clear accountability, and execute initiatives that accelerate revenue, deepen client value, and enhance competitiveness. Additionally, they will work extensively with the business development teams, clients, and external partners to shape solutions, bring new products to market successfully, and expand distribution.The foundation for success in this role is deep experience across money movement, instant payments, and fraud solutions, combined with strong command of the global payments landscape, including competitive dynamics, digital product enablement, operational realities, and the evolving regulatory and risk environments. Essential Functions Product Strategy & Portfolio Innovation Define and own the multi-year treasury management product strategy, aligned to business segment growth objectives (e.g., client acquisition, operating deposits, and recurring fee revenue) Establish product vision, roadmap, and prioritization across money movement, payables, receivables, and fraud solutions Manage and maintain market research and competitive analysis that includes the identification of client needs, market trends, and competitive gaps to shape innovation and investment priorities Act as the voice of client, partnering with relationship teams to understand client needs and develop differentiated solutions End-to-End Product Lifecycle Ownership Lead full product lifecycle management from ideation and business case development through product design and development, launch, commercialization, and ongoing optimization and enhancement Translate client and business needs into product requirements and features Partner with Technology, Operations, and Commercial Digital Product to ensure scalable, resilient delivery Financial Performance Accountability Own the product P&L, including developing strategies that drive revenue growth, core funding and increased efficiency, prioritizing investments and monitoring their returns, and managing and forecasting volumes Drive growth in close partnership with Sales and Liquidity Product Management through pricing, product bundling, new solution development, and sales strategy and tactics Monitor product performance metrics (e.g., adoption, profitability, client satisfaction) and adjust strategy accordingly Cross-Functional Leadership Lead and collaborate with teams across sales, digital, technology, operations, risk, compliance, and legal Ensure alignment between product strategy, go-to-market execution, and servicing Represent KeyBank as the subject matter expert for treasury products in client discussions, internal forums, and with external constituencies which may include regulators (OCC, FRB) and industry groups (FRFS, NACHA, SWIFT, TCH) Risk, Compliance, and Governance Ensure all products align with regulatory, risk, and control frameworks Incorporate risk considerations into organizational structure, product design, and lifecycle decisions Partner closely with risk functions to enhance control environment and support audits and regulatory requirements Team Leadership & Talent Development Lead and develop a team of product managers and product owners Establish clear product ownership, decision rights, and accountability Build a culture of accountability centered on innovation, client-first design, data-driven decisioning, and execution discipline Performs other duties as assigned; duties, responsibilities and/or activities may change or new ones may be assigned at any time with or without notice Complies with all KeyBank policies and procedures, including without limitation, acting professionally at all times, conducting business ethically, avoiding conflicts of interest, and acting in the best interests of Key’s clients and Key. Education Bachelor's Degree (preferred) OR equivalent experience (required) Work Experience A minimum of 10 years treasury management or commercial liquidity product management experience (required) Proven experience leading a team, driving complex product portfolios and projects, and delivering revenue growth (required) Expertise in treasury services, including payables, receivables and money movement (required) Deep understanding of the payments ecosystem, including competitive market dynamics, regulatory and risk frameworks, and the digital capabilities required to modernize and scale product delivery (required) Strategic visionary that considers a broad range of internal and external factors when solving a problem, creates innovative solutions that satisfy the needs of all stakeholders, and takes ownership for impact of solutions (preferred) Demonstrated ability to thrive in a matrixed environment and be able to influence and marshal positive change while maintaining a reputation for fostering horizontal collaboration (preferred) Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively build trusting relationships with the Executive and Commercial Bank Leadership Teams, peer executives, team members, and stakeholders (preferred) Leads through challenges with considerable endurance, diplomacy, and positive attitude (preferred) Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, problem-solving, decision-making, and project management skills (preferred) Ability to frame and present complex information that resonates with a broad set of internal and external constituencies (preferred) Hands-on doer, conveys and executes with urgency, and drives open items to closure (preferred) Physical Demands General Office - Prolonged sitting, ability to communicate face to face in person or on the phone with teammates and clients, frequent use of PC/laptop, occasional lifting/pushing/pulling of backpacks, computer bags up to 10 lbs. Work Location Category Remote COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $165,000.00 - $345,000.00 annually. Placement within the pay range may differ based upon various factors, including but not limited to skills, experience and geographic location. Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for incentive compensation which may include production, commission, and/or discretionary incentives.
