AVOMIND Open Roles Head PLM Connectivity Business – Southern Europe and DACH (Remote) Preferable Location(s): Berlin, Germany Work Type: Full Time Apply Now To build an d About Your Role To build and maintain high growth business which is profitable and sustainable. The Product Line Manager (PLM) is responsible for the strategic and operational management of the product portfolio for passive fiber optic components, ensuring alignment with market needs and company objectives. This role bridges the gap between engineering, sales, and marketing, driving innovation and growth while optimizing product lifecycle. Reporting Relationships: Direct reporting to Business Head connectivity with matrix reporting to Regional head Southern Europe. KPI: Providing techno-commercial support to sales / Application engineers. Preparing strategic & tactical business plans, analysing business needs and taking corrective actions. Ensuring growth in the sales targeting increase in revenue and maximization of EBIT. Lead the products roadmaps initiatives required for the regional growth – keeping in mind the long term strategic objectives. Brings new products to market by analysing proposed product requirements and product development programs; preparing return-on-investment analyses; establishing time schedules with engineering and manufacturing. Spearheading product promotion activities, giving presentations on products, conducting road shows, news letters, etc. Be the owner of sales collateral - presentations, data sheets, demo samples. Assesses market competition by comparing the company's product to competitors' products. Determines product pricing by utilizing market research data; reviewing production and sales costs; anticipating volume; costing special and customized orders. Inputs to define and prioritize the development pipeline for the products under their responsibility. Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field (MBA is a plus). 10+ years of experience in product management or a similar role in the fiber optic or telecommunications industry. English fluent to guarantee the basic interactions with the team and the corporate. Skills: Strong technical understanding of passive fiber optic components (Fiber components – Passive Optical components, ODF, Subracks, Joint Closures, Patchcords, boxes, Street cabinets, connectors (Single Fiber / Multi Fiber/ outdoor / hardened / MIL tactical)). Strategic thinking and ability to translate market needs into product solutions. Excellent project management, organizational, and communication skills. Data-driven decision-making and analytical capabilities. Database Analysis and reporting. Knowledge of the International Standards (ITUT, IEC, CENELEC). Experience in selling connectivity solutions to telco customers in EU region. Knowledge of market pricing levels. Location: Italy / Germany Employment Type: Onsite / Hybrid / Remote the corporate.
