Marquee Health is looking for an innovative, initiative-taking, dedicated individual to fill the position of Health Educator in Training.
Our suite of services includes health coaching, clinical health evaluations, incentive administration, reasonable-alternative standard administration, disease management, maternity management, behavioral health, and chiropractic management.

Primary Responsibilities
Health Education
- Knowledge of Biometric Screening Markers: Review biometric screening results with participants over the phone
- Delivering health information: Provide members with health education on lifestyle factors affecting key health indicators
- Documenting sessions: Maintain accurate records of sessions
- Reporting and Auditing: Accurate reporting/auditing of sessions and outcomes
- Utilizing systems: Use coaching software and tools to manage member information and track activity/outcomes.
- Practicing Communication Skills: Develop active listening skills
- Learning and skill development: Gain knowledge of coaching methodologies, techniques and best practices
- Engage in Training: Actively and attentively participate in training sessions and apply the acquired knowledge to assigned tasks.
- Collaborating with Peers: Partner with fellow Health Educators to share insights, exchange feedback, and learn from each other’s experiences to continuously enhance coaching effectiveness and member outcomes.
- Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Additional functions and responsibilities, as necessary.
Required/Minimum Qualifications
- Trained in coaching competencies, theories, and methodologies.
- Bachelor’s degree in health-related field (master’s degree preferred)
- NBC-HWC (preferred or obtain within 18 months of hire)
- Must have experience with clinical health education, weight loss management, nutrition, tobacco cessation, stress management, physical activity, etc.
- Must have a great understanding of various biometric results including and not limited to blood pressure, glucose, cholesterol, BF/BMI, etc.
- Experience speaking in front of live and remote Audiences for an extended period.
- Experience in planning, developing, and designing health education presentations and programs.
- Ability to be creative and innovative in a fast-paced and changing environment.
- Ability to speak, demonstrate, and operate remote viewing technology simultaneously.
- Preferred language proficiency: Primary fluency or bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is strongly preferred. The ability to read, write, and speak both languages interchangeably enhances the Health Educator’s capacity to develop member goals, conduct public presentations, and hold one-on-one health coaching sessions in either language.
