criminal justice and immigration detention systems. Working alongside partner
organisations, you'll gather evidence, share insight and help shape improvements
that have a national impact.

- In the last year as a Health and Justice Inspector in the Primary Care Directorate, you might have identified concerns relating to the rights and wellbeing of people in detention and supported action to ensure those concerns were addressed through regulatory processes.
The role
You'll work closely with
others to deliver shared outcomes. In this role, you'll:
- Inspect and assess services: Carry out inspections across health and justice settings, gathering and reviewing evidence to assess whether services meet expected standards.
- Work with partners: Collaborate with inspectorates, providers, commissioners and colleagues across CQC to share intelligence, manage risks and support a joined-up approach to regulation.
- Manage and follow up concerns: Oversee a portfolio of registered services, recording actions, monitoring information received and taking regulatory action where improvements are needed.

A Note on AI
AI tools can be great for research and refining ideas, but we want to learn about you. If you use AI or Chatbots to help you with your application, keep these points in mind:
- AI can support research, structuring and refining your writing, but your application must reflect your real skills and experience.
- Spell-checking and condensing word counts are great ways to use AI effectively.
- Do not copy and paste AI generated answers. These will not help you stand out; remember we want to hear about your skills and experience.
- Providing false and insincere examples goes against our core values of honesty and integrity and may lead to your application being withdrawn or termination of your employment.
