About the Opportunity

Are you passionate about helping people and providing exceptional customer service? We're seeking a Health Plan Specialist to join a growing healthcare team supporting members with questions related to benefits, billing, enrollment, and insurance coverage.

In this fully remote role, you'll serve as a trusted resource for members, providing end-to-end support and ensuring every issue is resolved accurately, professionally, and with a customer-first mindset.

What You'll Do

• Handle 100% inbound customer service calls regarding health plan benefits, billing, enrollment, and coverage questions
• Manage approximately 50-70 calls per day during peak Open Enrollment periods
• Research and resolve complex member issues from start to finish
• Maintain ownership of customer concerns through complete resolution
• Document interactions accurately and thoroughly
• Utilize online tools and resources to efficiently support members
• Deliver exceptional customer service while demonstrating empathy, professionalism, and attention to detail

Preferred

• Call center experience
• Health insurance experience
• Medicaid experience
• Strong problem-solving and customer service skills
• Ability to navigate multiple systems while on calls

Remote Work Requirements

Candidates must:

• Have reliable hard-wired internet access via Ethernet cable
• Maintain stable high-speed internet (no Wi-Fi, hotspot, or satellite connections)
• Be comfortable appearing on camera during training and meetings
• Maintain a professional, distraction-free home office environment
• Utilize all company-provided equipment, including dual monitors and a headset

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $22.00/hr.
