Our services span ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, 50001 and 27001, 42001 as well as sustainability with Carbon footprinting and EcoVadis support. We’re a close-knit team and our consultants work with a wide variety of clients across many industries.

The Role

We’re looking for an experienced EHS Consultant with a strong Health & Safety background to join our core QEHS team. You’ll lead client engagements from start to finish: building management systems from the ground up, carrying out internal and integrated audits, and supporting clients through certification and beyond.

This is a hands-on, client-facing role with regular travel to client sites across Ireland. It suits someone who enjoys variety, is confident walking onto any site, and can turn standards into practical systems people actually use.

What You’ll Do

• Lead ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 implementation projects from gap analysis through to certification readiness.
• Carry out internal and integrated management system audits (EHS) across a range of client sectors.
• Provide practical Health & Safety advice and support, including risk assessments, safety statements, legal compliance reviews and site inspections.
• Support clients with environmental aspects and impacts, legal registers and compliance obligations.
• Prepare clear, professional audit reports, documentation and recommendations.
• Build strong, long-term client relationships and act as a trusted advisor.
• Work alongside colleagues on integrated (QEHS/IMS) projects and contribute to the continued growth of our ISO services.

What You’ll Bring (Essential)

• A strong Health & Safety background, with solid working knowledge of Irish H&S legislation.
• In-depth understanding of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001.
• Proven experience implementing at least one ISO management system from scratch, start to finish.
• Lead or Internal Auditor certification in ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 (IRCA/CQI or equivalent).
• Experience across more than one industry or sector. Consultancy experience is a strong advantage.
• A full clean driving licence and access to your own vehicle, with the flexibility to travel regularly to client sites.
• Excellent communication and report-writing skills, and the confidence to engage with everyone from site operatives to senior management.
• A relevant third-level qualification in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science or a related field.

Bonus Points (Desirable but not required)

• Auditor certification in ISO 9001 and/or ISO 50001.
• Experience with integrated management systems
• Experience in energy management or sustainability.
