This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious law graduate looking to launch their career in Healthcare and Sports Litigation. Working directly with two highly respected Partners, you'll gain hands-on experience on complex, high-profile cases from day one, developing your skills in a fast-paced and specialist area of law.
Key Accountabilities
- Support the handling of complex healthcare and sports litigation matters
- Review and analyse medical records, preparing detailed chronologies and evidence summaries
- Prepare electronic bundles and court documentation for hearings, conferences and trials
- Liaise with clients, insurers, counsel, experts and witnesses throughout the litigation process
- Coordinate conferences, hearings, Joint Settlement Meetings (JSMs) and trials
Conduct legal research and assist with case strategy - Maintain accurate case records and documentation
- Deliver high standards of client service while meeting performance and chargeable hours targets
Experience, Skills and Qualifications
- 2:1 Law degree (or equivalent) essential
- Litigation experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organisation and attention to detail
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proactive, motivated and eager to learn
- Strong IT and administrative skills
- A collaborative team player with a client-focused approach
- Sharp analytical and problem-solving abilities
