We are looking for an experienced Healthcare Recruiter who understands the pace, complexity, and urgency of recruiting healthcare professionals in a staffing environment.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Equiliem is seeking an experienced Healthcare Recruiter with a minimum of 2 years of healthcare recruiting experience within a staffing agency or healthcare staffing firm. This is not an entry-level recruiting position. Previous healthcare staffing/recruiting experience is required. Recruiters whose experience is exclusively in non-healthcare industries will not be a fit for this position.
- The ideal candidate has firsthand experience recruiting healthcare professionals for hospitals, health systems, clinical facilities, or other healthcare clients and understands the unique requirements involved in healthcare talent acquisition, including clinical qualifications, certifications, licensure, compliance, compensation, and candidate availability.
- You will own the recruiting lifecycle from sourcing and initial outreach through screening, submission, interview coordination, offer acceptance, and placement.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Healthcare Recruiting & Talent Delivery:
- Source, screen, qualify, and recruit healthcare professionals based on client requirements.
- Evaluate candidates for relevant clinical experience, credentials, certifications, licensure, availability, and compensation alignment.
- Manage multiple healthcare requisitions in a fast-paced staffing environment.
- Deliver qualified candidate submissions with speed, accuracy, and attention to client requirements.
- Partner closely with Account Managers to understand healthcare client needs, priorities, and fulfillment strategies.
Healthcare Pipeline Development:
- Build and maintain pipelines for recurring and high-demand healthcare positions.
- Proactively identify qualified healthcare professionals through job boards, resume databases, referrals, LinkedIn, networking, and direct outreach
- Re-engage previous candidates and develop long-term healthcare talent networks.
- Stay informed on healthcare labor market conditions, compensation trends, licensure requirements, and candidate availability.
Candidate Screening & Management:
- Conduct structured phone and video interviews with healthcare professionals.
- Assess clinical experience, credentials, career goals, availability, compensation expectations, and geographic preferences.
- Discuss and negotiate compensation and employment terms.
- Maintain candidate engagement throughout the recruitment process.
- Guide candidates from initial outreach through submission, interview, offer, and acceptance.
- Deliver a responsive and professional candidate experience.
Healthcare Staffing Operations:
- Maintain accurate and timely candidate documentation within the ATS.
- Track recruiting activity, submissions, interviews, offers, and placements.
- Work effectively within client-specific processes and requirements.
- Navigate MSP/VMS environments when applicable.
- Maintain urgency and organization while managing multiple open healthcare requisitions.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
- Experience supporting hospitals, healthcare systems, clinical facilities, or healthcare staffing clients.
- Experience managing high-volume healthcare requisitions and candidate pipelines.
- Strong understanding of healthcare candidate screening, including clinical experience, credentials, certifications, and/or licensure.
- Experience sourcing healthcare professionals through job boards, databases, referrals, LinkedIn, and direct outreach.
- Experience managing candidates throughout the full recruiting lifecycle.
- Strong ATS and candidate tracking experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organization, follow-through, and sense of urgency
- PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
- Experience recruiting within an MSP/VMS environment.
- JobDiva experience (Preferred)
- Experience supporting both contract and direct-hire healthcare recruiting.
- Established knowledge of healthcare staffing markets, pay rates, credentialing, and compliance requirements.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience

- Client Partnership: Your ability to understand requirements and consistently deliver qualified candidates strengthens client relationships and drives repeat business.
- Revenue Impact: Your placements directly contribute to Equiliem's healthcare staffing growth, revenue, and gross profit.
COMPENSATION, INCENTIVES & BENEFITS
Base Salary: $55,000–$65,000K
Incentives: Recruiting Commission Plan
Classification: Exempt
Benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, Short-Term Disability, Life Insurance, Unlimited PTO, 401(k), 7 paid holidays.
