Healthcare Robotics Engineer (Brazil Remote)

At Rex.zone, you will design, implement, and validate healthcare robotics capabilities across perception, planning, and control to support real clinical and hospital operations. This remote, full-time role spans system architecture, integration testing, verification and validation (V&V), and production reliability in regulated environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Build robotics software modules for autonomy, navigation, and task execution using ROS2
• Develop perception pipelines (camera/LiDAR), including calibration, sensor fusion, and computer vision
• Implement motion planning and control systems with safety constraints and fail-safe behavior
• Create test strategies for simulation, hardware-in-the-loop, and on-robot validation; track regression and performance
• Define and maintain requirements, hazard considerations, and V&V artifacts aligned with regulated practices (e.g., ISO 13485, IEC 62304)
• Support field deployments, root-cause analysis, and iterative improvements based on telemetry and incident reports

• ROS2 nodes, C++/Python services, simulation environments, sensor logs/rosbags
• SLAM/localization stacks, CI pipelines, automated regression tests, telemetry dashboards
