Role Overview

We are looking for an AR Follow-Up Specialist with experience in US Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management (RCM), Medical Billing, Denials Management, and Appeals. You will work directly with insurance payers to resolve outstanding claims, reduce denials, recover revenue, and ensure timely reimbursement.

This role is ideal for professionals who enjoy problem-solving, payer interaction, revenue recovery, and improving healthcare reimbursement outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow up on denied, underpaid, and outstanding insurance claims.
• Investigate claim discrepancies and identify root causes of payment delays.
• Prepare and submit appeals for denied claims.
• Communicate with commercial and government payers to resolve reimbursement issues.
• Review EOBs, remittance advice, and payer responses.
• Track and document account activities accurately.
• Identify denial trends and recommend process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with Medicare, Medicaid, and payer-specific guidelines.
• Meet productivity, quality, and turnaround-time targets.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex reimbursement issues.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across AR and revenue cycle processes.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
• 1–3 years of experience in AR Follow-Up, Medical Billing, Denials Management, Appeals, Healthcare Collections, or Revenue Cycle Management.
• Good understanding of US Healthcare and Revenue Cycle Management (RCM).
• Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance payers.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and reporting tools.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in hospital billing, physician billing, or healthcare collections.
• CRCR (Certified Revenue Cycle Representative) certification.
• Experience handling denial management and appeals.
• Familiarity with healthcare compliance and payer regulations.
